Pertandingan tanpa CB? Semoga Bailly bisa main.

Hanya Celta Vigo? Hanya Swansea dan hanya West Brom aja kesulitan. Wajib konsentrasi. Peluang lolos UCL jauh lebih besar disini. Wajib juara.

Match pertama kalau bisa sih bisa mencuri angka dan gol di kandang Vigo.
Dengan materi pemain United yang ada saat ini, bisa menang 1-0 sebenarnya sudah bagus :)

EARLY UNITED TEAM NEWS FOR CELTA VIGO TRIP

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho hopes to welcome Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini back into the fold for Thursday's away match against Celta Vigo in the Europa League semi-finals.

Pogba has missed the last two games due to injury while Fellaini's suspension for the red card he received in the Manchester derby only covers domestic football, meaning he can play at the Estadio Balaidos.

Juan Mata was an unused substitute in the 1-1 draw with Swansea City and could also come into the reckoning after recovering from a groin operation but there will be an anxious wait to discover the extent of the problems suffered by Luke Shaw and Eric Bailly on Sunday.

The boss was asked about the prospect of Phil Jones or Chris Smalling being available for Wednesday's flight to Spain and replied: "I don’t think they will. That’s my personal opinion, I don’t think they will but I know the players I choose will give everything. It doesn’t matter if I go with [Matteo] Darmian [as a] central defender or [Michael] Carrick or Axel [Tuanzebe], I trust the boys.

"They give everything, the spirit is amazing and the group is phenomenal. Fellaini and Pogba will be back for that game so there are a little bit more in terms of options so we will give everything we have."

Mourinho conceded the fixture congestion could lead to him fielding a Reserves side in the final match of the Premier League season against Crystal Palace.

"If we beat Celta, we have the final and, in this moment, it is obviously hypothetical," he added. "The Europa League final is on the Wednesday and we play against Crystal Palace on the Sunday. Before that, we play Southampton away a few days before, so we would be playing the final with disastrous consequences.

"So, again, maybe this result is also a blessing because maybe I can bring Nicky Butt and his team to play against Crystal Palace and hopefully they [Palace] don’t need the game to stay in the division because it would be very, very bad if they needed the points and we played with the Under-23s."

PREVIEW: CELTA VIGO V MANCHESTER UNITED

When is it? The Europa League semi-final first-leg clash at Estadio de Balaidos will kick off at 20:05 BST this Thursday, 4 May.

How can I watch it? The game will be broadcast live on BT Sport in the UK, and fans can also follow the action in ManUtd.com's live match blog and via @ManUtd, the club's official Twitter account. MUTV subscribers in the UK & Ireland and worldwide users of the MUTV App on iOS and Android can tune in to Match Day Live from 19:00 BST for all the build-up and then listen to live radio commentary, before watching the 90 minutes in full from midnight.

Sweden awaits the winners... Whoever triumphs over the two legs of this semi-final tie will have a Europa League final to look forward to at the Friends Arena in Stockholm on Wednesday 24 May. Following Thursday's first leg, Celta will travel to Old Trafford exactly seven days later for the second leg which will also kick-off at 20:05 BST.

So, who's available to play for the Reds? That's a good question! With an already lengthy injury list going into Sunday's game with Swansea City, the situation became worse for the Reds when both Luke Shaw and Eric Bailly limped out of the 1-1 draw. The duo's fellow defenders Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Chris Smalling and Tim Fosu-Mensah all missed that match so there could be a need for someone like midfielder Michael Carrick to play out of position at centre-back in Spain - watch this space. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is also ruled out of course but at least there has been a positive update with the Swede's associates reporting his knee operation in the US as being successful. Good news regarding Thursday's selection includes the expected return of Paul Pogba and Juan Mata could also start for the Reds after being named on the bench against Swansea following groin surgery. Marouane Fellaini is also available to play despite currently serving a three-match domestic ban.

What shape are the hosts in? Celta manager Eduardo Berizzo made eight changes to the side which lost 3-0 to Athletic Club on Sunday, including a rest for his top scorer and former Liverpool striker Iago Aspas. Former United forward Giuseppe Rossi plays for the Spanish club but he has a long-term injury and may be out of action until much later in the year.

How are both sides doing? The Reds' long unbeaten run in the Premier League - 25 games - continued against Swansea, but ultimately a 1-1 draw was not the result Jose Mourinho's men wanted. In terms of Europa League form, United saw off Anderlecht in extra-time in the last round, while Celta overcame Genk in the last eight and have been prioritising this competition of late. The Spaniards currently lie 11th in La Liga having lost their last three domestic matches and while they are unbeaten in their last five European matches (W4 D1), they have kept just one clean sheet in six Europa League home games this season.

First-time meeting... This will be the first competitive match between United and Celta Vigo and indeed the Spanish club's first-ever semi-final in a major European competition. According to UEFA, Celta's record in nine matches against English sides is W5 D0 L4 (W2 D0 L2 in Vigo). They have lost the last three of those games, most recently going down 2-1 at Newcastle United in the 2006/07 UEFA Cup group stage. The Reds are, of course, bidding to win the Europa League for the first time in the club's history and with it, claim a place in the Champions League next season.

The other semi-final... The two other teams battling it out for a place at the Friends Arena on 24 May are Ajax and Lyon, who meet on Wednesday night at the Amsterdam ArenA (kick-off 17:45 BST).

Mou kemaren bilang klo Smalling dan Jones hampir pasti nggak main kan? Mungkin kebugarannya blom maksimal. Tapi ya semoga fit. United wajib juara UEL.

Re: [UEL] Celta Vigo vs Manchester United

Celta Vigo boss Eduardo Berizzo says his side do not fear Manchester United but respect Jose Mourinho's men

* Celta Vigo will face Manchester United in the Europa League semi-final
* Berizzo says his men are up for the task but respect Jose Mourinho's side
* The European semi-final is the first in Celta Vigo's playing history

Celta Vigo coach Eduardo Berizzo insists the Spaniards will have no fear of Manchester United in Thursday’s Europa League semi-final – but they do respect Jose Mourinho’s side.

Although Vigo currently languish in 11th place in the La Liga table, they have beaten Barcelona three years in a row and twice scored four goals against the Catalan giants at the Estadio Balaidos.

They go into their first ever European semi-final as big underdogs, but Berizzo believes his players will embrace the occasion.

‘More than feared, Manchester United are respected,’ said the 47-year-old Argentine coach. ‘We have played against some great teams in this competition, and Manchester United is definitely one of them.

History identifies them as one of them. We will win with conviction, identity and heart – at least we hope to.

Celta Vigo coach Eduardo Berizzo insists his side have no fear of Manchester United. Vigo are full of respect for Jose Mourinho and his Red Devils side, but are ready for the task

‘I respect Jose Mourinho terribly. Fortunately it’s not the coaches who play the match. We help our players by encouraging them and giving them strength for the future and hopefully that’s what will happen tomorrow.

‘This game has international significance, it’s the match all the fans want to see.

‘Vigo has always lived and dreamed of giving something like this so this is a great match for the city. Really the joy and the dream is very obvious with the city.’

Berizzo is a disciple and former assistant to Marcela Bielsa who knocked United out of this competition with Athletic Bilbao in 2012, and has adopted the same high-intensity, pressing tactics with Celta. He believes that sticking to their principles is the key to toppling United this time.

‘How do you beat them? Being faithful to who we are,’ he added. ‘The team has a very clear identity, they know who they are and believe in it. A lot of pressure, possession, recovering the ball quickly to attack again. The only way to beat Manchester United is to be faithful to who we are facing such a great team as them.

‘I was a witness to Bielsa’s match with Athletic Bilbao in Manchester. He found a tactical solution to that match and that may be a clue to follow tomorrow.

‘Manchester United know what they are doing, they know how to manage the pace, the defence the attack. We want to go to Manchester with a chance of winning and the only way to do that is to be faithful to our own game.’

Like United, Celta have played nine games in April but have had the luxury of resting players in La Liga to keep them fresh in Europe.

Berizzo added: ‘We’ve really learned how to pace ourselves and recuperate very fast. We’ve done a big effort in that part of training. It’s very clear when I look back, I thank the players for their attitude and commitment. The squad has really believed in this idea and that has translated into results as we are seeing.'

berat juga nih kalo melihat rekor away ke klub Spanyol yg hanya menang 2x, sedangkan Vigo jika bermain di kandang (atau menghadapi klub Inggris, lupa) baru 2x kalah kalo gak salah #cmiiw
