MIDDLESBROUGH
HOME KIT
It's been a while since we last saw Middlesbrough in the Premier League but it's been even longer since the Championship runners-up featured blue on their home kit.
While a finish behind Burnley secured a passage back to the top flight for the first time since 2009, you have to back to 2000 for the last time blue and white added complimentary trim to he traditional red.
It comes in the form of a diagonal white panel on the lower half of the shirt, and while the half-hearted sash is not going to be to everyone's taste, it at least represents something different from adidas.
HOME KIT VERDICT: 7/10
Middlesbrough's new home kit on their return to the Premier League features blue for the first time since 2000
AWAY KIT
If Middlesbrough supporters don't take to the lower half sash on the front of the home kit, they may take a liking to the away strip
Like the Chelsea shirt, the adidas stripes feature down the side of the strip rather than the sleeves but the indigo and bright cyan chevron is a nice compliment to the otherwise navy kit (bright blue socks aside).
Chevrons are more rugby league but adidas have pulled this off nicely and we just about give it a nod over the home kit.
AWAY KIT VERDICT 8/10
Middlesbrough players show off the new away kit upon their first appearance in the Premier League since 2009
