VOTE FOR UNITED'S GOAL OF THE MONTH
There are eight contenders in the running for Manchester United's final Goal of the Month poll for 2017.
Jesse Lingard features prominently with three nominations for the December prize – the first of his two goals in the Reds' 3-1 win at Arsenal and both of his efforts in the 2-2 draw against Burnley on Boxing Day, including his sublime backheel.
Romelu Lukaku's superb header which proved to be the winner against Bournemouth at Old Trafford is also shortlisted – as is Zlatan Ibrahimovic's powerful free-kick in the Carabao Cup tie at Bristol City, his first goal of the season for the Reds.
The first-team nominations are completed by the stunning free-kick from
Juan Mata – his second goal of the game – in the 2-2 draw at Leicester City just before Christmas.
For the Reserves,
Callum Gribbin makes the cut with his stunning strike from distance to mark his 19th birthday in style in the 1-1 draw with Leicester City, played in thick fog at Leigh Sports Village.
United's youth teams are also represented on the list by
Tahith Chong's effort in the FA Youth Cup clash at Derby County. The exciting winger collected a stray pass in the Derby half, embarked on a purposeful run and finished clinically with his left foot to level matters, but the Reds were unfortunately beaten on penalties in the third-round tie at Pride Park.
