Manchester United bans players from Twitter
Manchester United has banned its players from using social networking sites such as Twitter. The football club has taken control of the Twitter accounts belonging to Ryan Giggs, Darren Fletcher and Wayne Rooney, while Facebook accounts for Rio Ferdinand, Wes Brown and again Ryan Giggs have also been commandeered, it has been reported. A message on the club's site outlines the Premier League team’s new rules to the networking sites: "The club wishes to make it clear that no Manchester United players maintain personal profiles on social networking websites. “Fans encountering any web pages purporting to be written by United players should treat them with extreme scepticism." The bookmakers Paddy Power have been betting on which club would be the first to ban Twitter since Sunderland striker Darren Bent’s summer outburst towards Tottenham Hotspur Chairman Daniel Levy over his protracted transfer to Sunderland. Bent has built up big following on the microblogging site, with around 30,000 followers. Recently, he said he was "150% committed to the cause" after being beaten 7-2 by Chelsea. The bookies are now taking bets on the next Premier League team to ban players from using Twitter. The favourites are Tottenham Hotspur (4/1), Liverpool (6/1), Hull (8/1). Telegraph |

The 20-year-old was reportedly on the end of a rollicking from his manager for his performance in last week's League Cup semi-final first leg defeat to Manchester City and was left out of the squad for the weekend Premier League win over Hull City. The midfielder did not stay to watch the Hull match at Old Trafford and did not appear at training on Monday. He has not enjoyed a great season in terms of form, starting only nine of the Red Devils' 23 Premier League games this term. What the situation means for the Brazilian's long-term future at the club remains to be seen. |

Sistem Pengamanan MU Puaskan FA
(MIR) |

Re: Manchester United - News and Rumors
Fred Done outs himself as “Red Knight”
Bookmaker Fred Done has revealed himself to be one of the “Red Knights” aiming to takeover Manchester United. Fred, a lifelong United fan, is the first of an alleged 50 investors keen to take the football club away from the Glazer family, who have burdened the club with huge debts. He was approached by fixer Keith Harris. “If we are not careful we could end up like another Portsmouth, who look like they are headed for administration. “Sponsorship will be the next thing to drop off. And don’t tell me that United are too big to go bust. Just look at the Royal Bank of Scotland and AIG. “I think both David Gill and Sir Alex Ferguson are being forced to work with their hands tied behind their backs. My criticism is entirely of the Glazers.” I have always got United close to my heart.” One wonders is Fred was so worried when he was United’s official betting partner, before being outbid by Betfair in the Summer. Re: Manchester United - News and Rumors
Hargo gak jadi tampil lawan Milan neh keknya...
dicoret di ganti Diouf sedang tempat Welbeck diganti De Laet... padahal di awal musim aja berani gambling sekarang dah sembuh malah di coret kenapa gak JOS yah?? Fergie casts serious doubt on Hargreaves' future Alex Ferguson has raised serious doubts over the ability of Owen Hargreaves to return to top-level football this season by dropping the England midfielder from Manchester United's updated Champions League squad. Ferguson, who named Hargreaves in United's squad for the group stages of the competition, had recently admitted his desire to involve the injury-ravaged 29-year-old in the last-16 tie against AC Milan this month. But with the former Bayern Munich player now 16 months into a spell on the sidelines as a result of double knee surgery, Ferguson has effectively written Hargreaves out of his plans for the rest of the season by replacing him in his European squad with the Belgian defender Ritchie De Laet. Uefa last night confirmed United had requested De Laet's elevation in place of Hargreaves. The Premier League champions have also named Senegalese forward Mame Biram Diouf in place of Danny Welbeck, who is on loan at Preston. The omission of Hargreaves, who has not played a competitive fixture since September 2008, is a blow for English boss Fabio Capello, who had been prepared to hand the Canada-born player as much time as necessary to prove his fitness ahead of the World Cup. Despite Hargreaves' latest setback, however, Capello is planning to meet him this month in an effort to gain the midfielder's perspective on his injury. But with Ferguson deciding he cannot rely on Hargreaves against Europe's elite during the final three months of the season, there now appears to be no chance of him even being in contention for a late entry into Capello's 23-man squad. Of more immediate concern for United and Hargreaves is when, or if, the £19m signing will overcome his injury problems sufficiently to play for the club again. On his arrival at Old Trafford in May 2007, Hargreaves signed a three-year contract with an option of a further 12 months. United have made no attempt to review the contract, with the club expecting Hargreaves to remain at United until June 2011. With Hargreaves failing to make a comeback last August, and not even returning to the club from the Colorado base of surgeon Dr Richard Steadman until September, Ferguson then suggested that he would be able to call on his services for the final three Champions League group games. Although Hargreaves emerged unscathed from a practice match last month, Ferguson has alluded to "confidence" issues preventing the player from taking the final step to competitive action. Code:
