Alhamdulillah menang... bangun pas 23.45 lihat skor 0-2, trus tidur lagi. Bangun lagi udh 0-3... Mantap. Kenapa nggak kemarin2 gini ya.

Mikhi tampaknya main di belakang Ibra ya? Mata di kanan dan Rashford di kiri. Taktik 4231 sepertinya dipake karena 433 udh mulai terbaca lawan dan jadi seret gol.

Balik lagi ke jalur kemenangan,,wlwpun main belum tokcer bgd yg penting menang. Skrg cuma selisih 1 poin sm Pool n 2 sm Arsenal,,makin besar peluang masuk zona UCL.Yg kurang di match td malem ya Pogba n Rashford,, mztnya diganti sm Basti n Martial,,eh...Basti malah ga dibawa ke Leicester. 40 menit awal sangat2 menjemukan,,udah takut aja bakal 0-0 lagi...smp akhirnya Mikhi memecah kebuntuan.

Manchester United star Henrikh Mkhitaryan runs the show against Leicester after Jose Mourinho abandons 4-4-2 experiment

* Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Juan Mata scored for the visitors
* Jose Mourinho tried Ibrahimovic and Marcus Rashford in a 4-4-2 formation
* However, United only started to dominate when Mkhitaryan moved to No 10

After 41 minutes of discomfort, Manchester United all of a sudden became sublime, fluid and clinical at the King Power Stadium.

They started this trip to Leicester City looking awkward in an ill-fitting 4-4-2 only to end the occasion winning at a canter.

Jose Mourinho switched up his tactics, changed the focus from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcus Rashford to Henrikh Mkhitaryan and it worked a treat.

In doing so, he might have stumbled on a solution to his team's goalscoring problems. It certainly made the difference here.

With 36 goals, United are comfortably the lowest scorers of the Premier League's Big Six — 10 behind Tottenham and 16 off Arsenal and Liverpool.

And before this game a stat flashed up — the visitors averaging 11.8 shots per goal, the second-worst ratio in the Premier League.


Henrikh Mkhitaryan excelled after being moved into the No 10 position against Leicester

But United found a new, clinical side — albeit against a Leicester outfit who look desperate in defence — with Mkhitaryan the centre-point at No 10.

He had started on the left wing accommodating a true strike pairing of Rashford, who has often found himself shunted wide previously, and Ibrahimovic.

But it didn't work. Chances were at a premium and the experiment was ditched. Rashford moved to the flank, and within moments a Mkhitaryan-engineered opportunity presented itself with Rashford shooting over.

Mkhitaryan said later: 'We prepared before the game that if it doesn't work with two strikers to change formation and that is what we did.

'It was not something new for us. In many games we have changed easily. We did good after the (formation) change. We have been trying to have more chances and to score more and it worked.'

Of course, the Armenian at No 10 would then open the scoring by racing through the centre of Leicester's defence at the expense of Robert Huth before hammering home. With the Foxes shell-shocked, it was two 88 seconds later.

Mkhitaryan was pulling the strings and would then brilliantly play Juan Mata through for United's third. His ability to influence had looked wasted on the flank.

Sure, Rashford isn't given the central opportunity many would like for him, but this is the Bundesliga Players' Player of the Year of last season being given the chance to thrive.

Mkhitaryan in the middle gave United the edge. They created more and should have been at least four goals to the good when Mata missed when one-on-one with Kasper Schmeichel.

There are still plenty of flaws with Mourinho's team but one way to remedy the problems they have had in attack is handing Mkhitaryan the freedom of the middle.
