Loans: Brady hits winner

Robbie Brady hit a beautiful winner for Hull against Reading to hand the Tigers their first home win of the season.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international curled past Adam Federici from the right flank and also shot wide in the closing stages as he continues to impress at The KC Stadium.

Ritchie De Laet helped Norwich give Chelsea a real fight before the ten-man Canaries eventually succumbed to a 3-1 defeat.

Returning to the Championship and Ryan Tunnicliffe was a first-half substitute for Peterborough in their 2-0 defeat to leaders Brighton. Reds team-mate Scott Wootton failed to get off the bench. Reece Brown came on for the last four minutes of Doncaster's 1-1 draw with Bristol City and had a header that went over the bar.

Oliver Norwood, fresh from a promising debut against Newcastle in the Carling Cup, played in Scunthorpe's 3-2 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday but will miss the upcoming matches against Hartlepool and Colchester due to international duty.

Danny Drinkwater made his Barnsley debut in the goalless draw at Millwall, moving forward from midfield to have a shot well blocked by Paul Robinson in the second half.

Joshua King didn't feature in Borussia Monchengladbach's 1-0 defeat to Schalke.
