Torres Absen Di Sesi Latihan Perdana Spanyol

Timnas Spanyol memulai sesi latihan mereka tanpa salah satu pemain andalan mereka.

Sesi latihan perdana timnas Spanyol dimulai hari ini dengan tanpa diikuti Fernando Torres.

Striker andalan Spanyol yang membela Liverpool itu masih terkendala masalah cedera lutut. Diperkirakan, Torres baru bisa mengikuti sesi latihan grup minggu depan dan diprediksi bisa tampil untuk laga perdana grup.

Sementara Cesc Fabregas sudah ambil bagian dalam sesi latihan perdana grup, setelah dinyatakan pulih dari cedera patah tulang tibia. Hanya saja, gelandang Arsenal itu hanya mengikuti sesi latihan selama satu jam.

Spanyol akan berlatih di Las Rozas hingga hari Jumat sebelum terbang ke Austria untuk menjalani pemusatan latihan lanjutan.

Spanyol berada di grup yang sama dengan Swiss, Honduras dan Cile di Grup H, di mana laga pertama adalah menghadapi Swiss di Durban pada 16 Juni.

Torres Kembali Ikuti Sesi Latihan Spanyol

Muncul indikasi striker Spanyol itu sudah pulih dari cederanya dan siap dimainkan.

Fernando Torres menunjukkan tanda-tanda positif terkait dengan kondisi cederanya. Dia sudah mengikuti sesi latihan tim Spanyol untuk pertama kalinya hari ini.

Sebelumnya striker Liverpool itu harus mengikuti sesi latihan terpisah karena harus menjalani masa pemulihan operasi lutut bulan lalu. Namun saat ini dia sudah menunjukkan indikasi bakal siap untuk laga pembuka Spanyol melawan Swiss pada 16 Juni.

Tak pelak, pulihnya Torres mendapat sambutan positif dari rekan-rekannya di timnas.

"Kabar bagus tentunya melihat Fernano bisa kembali berlatih bersama kami. Dia adalah pemain penting untuk kami," tukas bek Gerard Pique seperti dikutip Sky Sports.

"Dia menyatakan akan fit untuk laga pembuka kami, yang mana hal itu merupakan kabar yang bagus," sambung winger Juan Mata.

Berlatihnya Torres melengkapi total 23 pemain yang ambil bagian di sesi latihan. Rencananya besok mereka akan terbang ke Austria untuk melakukan pemusatan latihan khusus sebelum menuju Afrika Selatan.
