Duo winger , yg penampilan nya sering membuat United Fans mengelus dada dan geleng-geleng kepala ...

a.d. 1 ) Bebe :

Dari Bebe dulu ... Bebe , IMHO , tidak punya kualitas utk sekadar menghuni bangku cadangan United . Kemampuannya lebih parah dr Nani di musim 2008/2009 s/d setengah musim pertama 2009/2010 . Dan pendapat aq bukan sekadar subyektivitas belaka .

Bebe , dibeli dengan harga 7,8 juta pound . Bukan harga yg murah , mengingat track record Bebe dr klub antah berantah dan dibeli "hanya" sekadar rekomendasi dan rekaman video doank .

O.K , Bebe memang punya kecepatan dan postur yg memadai utk bersaing di kancah EPL , tetapi berapa banyak pemain muda United yg mempunyai kemampuan serupa atau melebihi Bebe dr Akademi Carrington ??? Bahkan , Davide Petrucci , Oliver Norwood , atau Robbie Brady aq yakin punya kapasitas lebih dr sekadar seorang Bebe .

Kelemahan Bebe yg terbesar adl , bagaimana cara bekerja sama dg tim dg baik dan benar . Link up dg wing back gak jalan , crossing ngawur , dan gak bisa berkomunikasi dg rekan setim (kecuali dg sesama Brazilian atau dg Nani). Mental nya juga dipertanyakan utk mengenakan seragam United .

Ada 1 solusi sebenarnya , yaitu mengubah posisi Bebe mjd Striker coz finishing touch nya tergolong lumayan dan sudah mencetak 2 gol utk United. Masalahnya , stok striker United , baik di tim uatama atau tim Reserve + Akademi terhitung melimpah ruah . Dan Bebe jelas kesulitan utk menembus tim Utama , dg kemampuan dia seperti saat ini .

Prediksi : Bebe akan menghuni Tim Reserve s/d akhir musim 2011/2012 depan , dan beberapa kali tampil sbg cameo di tim Utama United . Setelah itu , dipinjamkan ke sebuah klub , dan kemudian dilego ke klub tsb . Another Manucho type

Agak bingung juga dg pemain ini . Tipikal pemain yg dibutuhkan United sebenarnya . Punya skill individu aduhai , kecepatan di atas rata-rata , dan bisa menempati beberapa posisi ( versatile kind of player ) di lapangan .

Seperti kata Laurent Blanc , permasalahan utama dr Obertan adl mental dan cara pengambilan keputusan di lapangan . Kalau di musim lalu , fisiknya masih blm memadai , di musim ini sudah terlihat perkembangan dg postur yg lebih berotot dan tegap .

Prediksi : Obertan punya kans 50-50 utk bertahan di Old Trafford . Di musim depan , lebih baik Obertan dipinjamkan ke klub lain dan dilihat perkembangannya sampai akhir musim . Time will tell us .

Manchester United’s 4-0 demolition of Wigan at the weekend did reveal one particularly interesting image, that must surely convince United boss Sir Alex Ferguson that he should cut his losses on two players who haven’t quite got it.

Sitting either side of United legend, Ryan Giggs, were Gabriel Obertan and Bebe, two players listening to iPods’ and playing on their phones, while the Welsh wizard intently looked on, desperate to learn that little bit extra to add to his already huge bank of experience.

Obertan, a £3million recruit from Bordeaux and Bebe, a £7.5million singing Ferguson had never seen have both been awful for United this season, failing to make an impression against lower league opposition, and giving the impression they wouldn’t get a place in Crawley Towns first team.

In the middle was Ryan Giggs, ever willing to listen and learn, with 862 Manchester United appearances under his belt, 11 Premier League titles and 2 Champions Leagues, and the one man you may excuse the afternoon off.

If ever a picture told a story it was this one, and Sir Alex Ferguson hasn’t been Manchester United manager for 25 years for nothing. He’ll have noticed, noted, and will most likely get rid of both players come the summer, knowing that they aren’t ever going to be good enough for his football club with an attitude like that.

To all future Manchester United youngsters, some advice. Look at Giggs, watch him train, watch him watch football, look at how he lives his life, and copy, because even if you’re only half as good as he is, you’ll be good enough.
