Manchester United 'STILL want to sign Ousmane Dembele' despite Barcelona pulling the plug on a loan last year... with Red Devils weighing up whether to offer cash this summer or wait until the winger is a free agent in 2022

* Manchester United failed with their attempt to sign Ousmane Dembele last year
* Barcelona pulled out of the deal when the winger refused to sign a new contract
* Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still keen on Dembele after an impressive season in Spain
* United could reportedly offer cash this summer - or wait and sign him on a free
* Barca want Dembele to sign a new contract after he put injury issues behind him

Manchester United will make a second attempt to sign Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele - either this summer or next - according to Spanish newspaper Sport.

The Red Devils thought they had agreed a deal to land the winger on loan last year, only for Barca to pull out when Dembele refused to sign a new one-year contract.

However, the France international has impressed in La Liga this season and United have not given up hope of luring him to Old Trafford.

Sport claim that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's interest in Dembele has increased over the last six months and that United are weighing up how to approach a deal.

Manchester United are reportedly still interested in signing Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele. Dembele, pictured in action for France on Sunday, has been in fine form for Barca this season

The Premier League giants could reportedly offer Barcelona cash for the former Borussia Dortmund star this summer as his contract continues to tick down.

Dembele's current deal expires at the end of next season, with Barca officials said to have made an extension a 'priority move' following his resurgence.

United, however, are also exploring the option of signing the 23-year-old on a free transfer in the summer of 2022, should he fail to put pen to paper on a new contract.

Sport say that United have remained in touch with Dembele's representatives and have made them aware that they are interested in bringing him to Manchester.

The ex-Rennes starlet could expect a hefty signing-on fee from United should he choose to see out his deal with Barcelona and leave on a free.

Dembele has been plagued with injury problems since making his move to Spain in 2017 for an initial fee of £96million, with another £35m in potential add-ons.

Dembele is out of contract in 2022, with United weighing up when to make their move for him

However, he is enjoying a fine campaign under manager Ronald Koeman and Barca want to tie him down to a new deal to avoid losing him for nothing.

Mundo Deportivo claim that a contract extension is a 'priority' for new president Joan Laporta, although Sport report that Dembele's salary demands could be an issue as the Catalan giants look to cut costs.

Should they fail to agree fresh terms with the France forward by the summer, Barca are likely to cash in on him - potentially opening the door for United to swoop.

Man United, Liverpool and Tottenham 'to go head-to-head for RB Leipzig's Marcel Sabitzer' this summer... with Bundesliga club 'holding out for £36m' for star midfielder

* RB Leipzig midfielder Marcel Sabitzer is attracting lots of interest this summer
* Sabitzer's deal expires in 2022 and Leipzig don't want to lose him for nothing
* Reports in Germany say Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham are keen

Marcel Sabitzer is ready to cause a Premier League scramble this summer with Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham all reportedly in position to make a move for him.

The RB Leipzig captain has established himself as one of Europe's accomplished central midfielders in recent seasons.

With his contract expiring in June 2022 and RB Leipzig reluctant to lose him for nothing, German outlet Bild report that the Premier League trio are jostling for his signature.

The 27-year-old has continued his development and has played well this season with seven goals and six assists in 31 games.

He has developed immensely under boss Julian Nagelsmann and has found himself of the radar of English clubs for some time.

Tottenham have been reported as long-term admirers and Bild report north London 'is the most likely' destination, should Sabitzer press for a move to England.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are looking for a midfielder to replace Georginio Wijnaldum who looks set to depart on a free in the summer while United are expected to have another busy summer bolstering their squad.

Leipzig are believed to be holding out for €42million (£36million) despite the midfielder preparing to enter the final 12 months of his contract.

Marcel Sabitzer is reportedly attracting lots of Premier League interest for a summer move. Jose Mourinho, Jurgen Klopp and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are said to be keen on bringing the Austrian midfielder to the Premier League in the summer window. Sabitzer's stock has risen significantly in recent years and he has seven goals so far this season

Speaking to Bild earlier this month on his future, the RB Leipzig captain was unmoved on Premier League links.

'It has become popular to ask players about their future as soon as they enter the final 18 months of their contract,' he said.

'But that doesn't mean that everything has to be decided at that moment.

'Those in my inner circle know what I'm thinking. But I'm not stressed about it. I feel good in Leipzig and at the club, plus we're successful.'

So much interest in him means Sabitzer is likely to be offered a significant pay hike on his RB Leipzig salary if he swaps Germany for England.

But he has already insisted money will not be a factor in deciding his future.

'Salary is not my main focus right now,' he added to Bild.

'I'm doing well enough, I don't have to worry about it every day. I don't play football to build a money bin after my career. I play for success. I've always been a winner, and I want to win trophies.'

Sabitzer joined RB Leipzig in 2014 and has gone on to make more than 160 appearances for the German side, establishing himself as their captain under Nagelsmann.

Manchester United 'are among FIVE clubs who have already made an offer for Sergio Aguero after his Man City exit was announced'... as report claims rivals want to join Chelsea in offering him a shock Premier League lifeline

* Manchester United have reportedly made Sergio Aguero an offer to join them
* The 32-year-old's contract at Manchester City comes to an end in the summer
* Reports in France claim the Red Devils are in the hunt for the Argentine striker
* Inter Milan, Chelsea and PSG have also reportedly made offers to Aguero

Manchester United have reportedly made a shock bid to sign Manchester City icon Sergio Aguero once his contract at the Etihad finishes this summer.

City announced on Monday that their record goalscorer Aguero will depart when his contract expires in June after 10 years' service.

And according to French news outlet Foot Mercato, the Argentine striker has been inundated with offers from Europe's elite, with rivals United among five clubs to have offered him terms once his deal with City comes to an end.

Foot Mercato have gone on to claim that the 32-year-old has already received 'at least' five offers from across Europe, with Inter Milan and PSG also in the hunt to sign Aguero.

Sportsmail revealed earlier this month that Chelsea are also in the running to sign Aguero, who is keen to stay in the Premier League next season.

However, a move across Manchester to Old Trafford could prove to be an enticing one for Aguero, meaning there would be no reason to uproot from his Manchester base while staying in England's top-flight.

Manchester United have reportedly made Sergio Aguero an offer to join them this summer. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to bring in more firepower up front to support Marcus Rashford. The 32-year-old striker's contract at Manchester City comes to an end in the summer

Foot Mercato went on to report how PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to sign his compatriot on a free, given how a number of his attackers' futures remain up in the air.

However, United are facing similar issues up top and with Edinson Cavani looking likely to leave, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be keen to bring in more firepower to help Marcus Rashford up front.

Any move would also invite comparisons to the Carlos Tevez saga of 2009, when he moved from Old Trafford to the Etihad.

It would be a major coup for United to sign their rivals' greatest-ever striker, who has scored 257 goals in all competitions since joining from Atletico Madrid for £35million.

Aguero, who is set to win a fifth Premier League title this year, held talks with Pep Guardiola and other members of the club’s hierarchy on Monday afternoon over his contract.

However, after an injury-riddled season and a lack of minutes, City decided not to extend his current deal.

City are already looking to the future in who could replace Aguero and are targeting big-money moves for Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish, Sportsmail understands.

The Borussia Dortmund striker and Aston Villa captain are top of City's transfer wishlist as Guardiola gears up to freshen his squad.

The pair would be expected to cost close to £200m — a strong display of intent by a club on the verge of sealing a third Premier League title in four seasons.

Haaland, 20, has long been Guardiola's primary target as the team's next main striker and boasts an enviable scoring return this season, with 39 goals in 38 games for club and country.

Interest in Grealish, 25, has accelerated over the past few weeks and there is hope a deal can be struck with Aston Villa despite his club's wealthy owners meaning they have no imperative to sell their skipper.

City's pursuit of him and Haaland suggests they are looking for a younger age profile of player.

setelah menjadi top skor sepanjang masa City dan akan dibuatkan patung diluar stadion apakah Aguero mau pindah ke rival sekota? lumayan oke sih ngebayangin komposisi striker dilini depan kalo Aguero mau pindah & Cavani memperpanjang kontrak. Cavani ditengah diapit Aguero & Rashford, tapi kayaknya gak terlalu optimis sih Aguero mo pindah ke United, feeling sih ke Barca & Messi pun akan memperpanjang kontraknya. lama2 United dah kayak Juventus aja, menampung striker2 gaek yg sudah habis masa kontraknya

Manchester United 'will offer Alex Telles to Sporting Lisbon in their bid to swoop for in-demand Nuno Mendes this summer'... and Bruno Fernandes is 'pushing the club into getting deal done for Portuguese starlet'

* Man United are preparing to offer Alex Telles for Sporting Lisbon's Nuno Mendes
* Bruno Fernandes has been urging United to make an offer for the 18-year-old
* Lisbon want £34m for Mendes - so United plan on slashing the price with Telles

Bruno Fernandes has been urging Manchester United to complete a deal for Sporting Lisbon's Nuno Mendes, in a move that could see Alex Telles used as a bargaining chip.

The Lisbon left-back has impressed this season and United are eyeing him up as a potential addition when the transfer window re-opens this summer.

Fernandes, formerly of Sporting Lisbon, has been pushing for the Red Devils to make an offer for Mendes - but Telles could leave Old Trafford after just one season as a result, according to Record.

Luke Shaw has impressed again this season with the first-choice with Telles proving to be a talented back-up as well as Brandon Williams, who sits on the fringes of the squad.

However, despite Telles' contributions since his arrival from Porto last summer, he could be making his way back to Portugal sooner than he planned.

The 18-year-old Mendes has become an in-demand target for some of Europe's elite with his performances this season in Primeira Liga.

Manchester United are willing to offer Alex Telles in a move for Sporting Lisbon's Nuno Mendes. 18-year-old Mendes has been mightily impressive this season for Lisbon in the Primiera Liga. Bruno Fernandes, formerly of Sporting Lisbon, has been urging United to make a deal for him

And Fernandes is now trying to pull strings behind closed doors in order to get United at the front of the line for Mendes' signature.

According to the report, the Portuguese club want around £34million for the left-back and United will look to slash the price by considering Telles in a swap-deal.

Whether United will listen and follow the instructions of Fernandes is not yet known but they will not want to risk upsetting their talisman, who has registered 16 goals and ten assists in the Premier League this campaign.

Solskjaer is also wanting to bring in competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back, with Norwich's Max Aarons and Atletico Madrid's Kieran Trippier being considered.

David de Gea offered to Europe's elite with a Man United exit set for summer after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made Dean Henderson No 1... with PSG, Real Madrid and Atletico on alert

* Ole Gunnar Solskjaer picking Dean Henderson on Sunday spoke volumes
* Henderson played a seventh game in a row between the sticks against Brighton
* And David de Gea, on £375,000-a-week, could leave Old Trafford this summer
* PSG, Real Madrid and former club Atletico are all interested in the Spaniard

David De Gea is being offered to Europe's top clubs by his representatives as the Spain goalkeeper prepares to leave Manchester United this summer.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's decision to keep Dean Henderson in goal for a seventh game in a row against Brighton on Sunday has cast further doubt over De Gea's future at the club.

It is understood the 30-year-old is ready to call time on his United career after a decade at Old Trafford and his camp have begun sounding out potential buyers.

No transfer fee has been mentioned yet — although United would want in the region of £50 million — but De Gea's £375,000-a-week wages will be a stumbling block in the current economic climate.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is eyeing up a summer move away from the club. The Spaniard has played second fiddle to Dean Henderson in recent times at United. His former club Atletico Madrid could be a possible destination if keeper Jan Oblak leaves

Real Madrid, who came within minutes of signing De Gea in the summer of 2015, are likely to be interested again at the right price, while he has also been consistently linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Atletico Madrid, who sold De Gea to United for £18.9 m in 2011, may also consider re-signing him if Jan Oblak leaves this summer.

De Gea appears to have lost his status as United's No 1 to Henderson even though Solskjaer says both keepers will have opportunities over the remainder of the season.

It is understood when the United boss told England goalkeeper Henderson, 24 last month that he would be in goal for six games while De Gea was on paternity leave, the indication was that the Spaniard would play again after the international break.

Solskjaer must now decide whether to recall De Gea when he returns to Spain for Thursday's Europa League quarter-final against Granada.

If not, Henderson's run in the team will extend to eight games.

Manchester United 'to compete with bitter rivals Liverpool for Ibrahima Konate' as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer considers £33m RB Leipzig defender to replace 'frustrated' Eric Bailly

* Liverpool have been in pole position to land Ibrahima Konate in the summer
* The defender has a £33million release clause at Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig
* But Manchester United could look to swoop to hijack the deal to bolster defence
* Eric Bailly has reportedly grown frustrated with his lack of first-team chances

Manchester United are reportedly considering whether to hijack Liverpool's bid to land RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate in the summer.

Konate has been a target for Jurgen Klopp for some time, with the Reds hoping to land the France Under 21 defender in the next transfer window for around £33million.

But according to Eurosport they may have to fight off Manchester United for his services with their bitter rivals now having the highly rated centre back 'on their radar'.

Manchester United could up their interest for RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate (left). The France Under 21 star has a release clause at the German club worth £33million

Although United have previously shown interest in Konate, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may now take his interest further as he considers freshening up his back four.

The report claims that while many inside Old Trafford consider Bailly to be part of United's strongest defensive pairing along with Harry Maguire, Solskjaer has tended to prefer Victor Lindelof alongside the England international.

Bailly has just one year left on his deal, and although the club are keen to extend that, he is growing 'frustrated' at his lack of first-team chances, with Inter Milan now monitoring the situation.

He could be used to replace Eric Bailly at United who has grown 'frustrated' at Old Trafford. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been keen to bolster his defensive ranks this summer

United are also considering other options in the transfer market including Real Madrid's Raphael Varane and Sevilla's Jules Kounde but Konate could be their ideal choice this summer.

Liverpool have been long-term admirers of the 21-year-old, and have been favourites to land him in recent weeks, eager to get a move completed before the transfer window opens.

Jurgen Klopp has been dealing with a crisis at the back all season, with injuries to both Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.

With Leipzig not in a position of having to sell, any buyer will have to pay Konate's release clause of £33m (€40m), rather than trying to negotiate a lower asking price.

Manchester United 'to explore the possibility of signing West Ham star Declan Rice as part of a SWAP deal involving Jesse Lingard'... with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer holding a 'keen interest' in defensive midfielder

* Manchester United are reportedly keen to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice
* West Ham want to make Jesse Lingard's loan from the Red Devils permanent
* United could take advantage of this and look to offer a swap deal for Rice
* Lingard has been in sensational form since joining the Hammers in January

Manchester United are reportedly considering a swap deal which would see them land West Ham star Declan Rice, with Jesse Lingard being sent permanently the other way.

Lingard has revived his career since joining the Hammers on loan in January, scoring six goals and providing four assists in just eight games.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer meanwhile is a keen admirer of Rice. The midfielder has played a pivotal part in West Ham's success this season, as they enter the closing stages of the campaign with a real chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

Now according to The Athletic, the Red Devils are keen to discuss a swap deal involving Lingard, in order to persuade the Hammers into selling their star man.

West Ham didn't include any purchase clause in their loan deal for Lingard, but manager David Moyes is determined to land him on a permanent deal.

Lingard's form since joining the Hammers, saw him recalled to the international squad in Gareth Southgate's most recent squad, for the first time since the summer of 2019.

Manchester United are keen on signing Declan Rice and could offer Jesse Lingard in return. Lingard is enjoying a successful loan spell with West Ham after joining back in January. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees Rice as a potential successor to the experienced Nemanja Matic

Though Manchester United extended Lingard's contract until the end of next season back in December, it is believed Solskjaer would now prefer to sell the attacking midfielder now his value has increased.

Lingard has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford ever since the signing of Bruno Fernandes in January 2020.

The on-loan star hasn't ruled out staying at Manchester United next year, but is determined to get regular first team football.

Rice meanwhile has impressed for the Hammers this season, and he is seen as a potential long-term successor to 32-year-old Nemanja Matic.

It could take a big bid to lure Rice away from the Hammers though, especially if they achieve Champions League qualification.

Moyes has previously said that it would take 'Bank of England' money for a club to sign Rice.

kalo tukar tambah sama Rice mah ayok aja, United senang, WHU senang, Lingard juga senang. Rice bisa buat gantiin Matic, duet sama Tominay, kan katanya Fred suka naik turun performanya. kalo kepepet bisa jadi bek juga, segera realisasikan

Manchester United slap '£30m price tag' on Jesse Lingard following sublime form on loan at West Ham... with the Hammers ready to 'do whatever it takes' to sign playmaker permanently this summer

* West Ham are now said to be desperate to sign Jesse Lingard permanently
* Lingard returned to sizzling form after accepting a loan move to east London
* United are said to value the playmaker at £30m and will stick to their price tag
* Lingard has reclaimed his England spots and is now tipped to go to the Euros

Manchester United have reportedly slapped a £30m price tag on playmaker Jesse Lingard and will stick to it rigidly following the 28-year-old's sublime loan spell with West Ham.

Lingard's form has skyrocketed since securing a January transfer window loan switch to east London, with the Hammers now shock contenders for Champions League football as a result of his exploits.

Lingard has flourished under David Moyes and now United, expecting bids to come in, have valued their asset at £30m, according to the Mirror.

Selling Lingard would enable United to both free up the wage bill while also raising funds for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to add to his squad this summer.

After agreeing the loan move West Ham did not include an option to buy within the contract terms, meaning the two clubs must now sit down at the negotiation table.

The Hammers are 'ready to do whatever it takes' to bring Lingard to the London Stadium permanently, as report Sky Sports.

Manchester United are set to demand £30m from West Ham to sign Jesse Lingard in summer. Hammers manager David Moyes has been thrilled with Lingard's form since arriving at the club. Such has been the upturn in Lingard's form he has reclaimed his place in the England fold

So far Lingard has scored six times in eight league outings for his temporary club, with the most recent coming in the form of an excellent solo goal in Monday night's victory over Wolves.

he has been involved in nine goals in total in the Premier League since making his Hammers debut in February - a record only equalled by Tottenham's Harry Kane.

His displays have earned him an England recall, with Lingard a serious contender to be part of Gareth Southgate’s European Championship squad.

No formal talks over a permanent move have taken place between the Hammers and United but the London club are keen to address the issue before the end of the season.

This week United legend Gary Neville heaped praise on Lingard and the work he has done to prove himself away from Old Trafford, though struck a pessimistic chord regarding his future.

Neville admitted United would benefit greatly from Lingard returning to the club in such a rich vein of form, but insists the playmaker will always have to make do with a bit-part role.

Neville said: 'At Manchester United because there is that expectation of what you need to be, to be a wide player there, he's always going to get a difficult press.

'He's a really good player. He's going to have a great career. Manchester United have sent him out to West Ham to boost his career, maybe with the thought of boosting his price tag, but they might be thinking, "actually, we might want him back, he could be a real help to us."

'But if he's willing to go back there and compete and be the player that Dan James has been for the last few weeks, in and out, then there's no doubt he can play for Manchester United.

'If Jesse wants to play, and you can see he does want to play, then he needs to leave, because he's not going to play every single week for a Manchester United team that's competing for second or first place in the league.'

Default Re: [2020-2021] Manchester United ~ Transfer Rumors

Manchester United 'will have to pay at least £43m for Villarreal defender Pau Torres' as LaLiga side refuse to sell him for less than his release clause... and figure will rise to over £56m in final 15 days of the summer transfer window

* Pau Torres has established himself as one of Europe's best young defenders
* The Spanish international has made 27 appearances in LaLiga this season
* Real Madrid also reportedly interested in signing the 24-year-old centre back

Manchester United reportedly want to sign Villarreal defender Pau Torres, but have been quoted a fee of £43million to complete a deal for the 24-year-old.

Torres has established himself as one of Europe's most promising centre backs over the past two seasons, and has attracted interest from around the continent.

According to AS, the Red Devils have made signing the Spanish international a 'priority', but Villarreal will not sell for less than his release clause.

However, the fee for the imposing central defender is set to rise to £56m in the final 15 days of the transfer window.

Torres is a mainstay of Unai Emery's team and they're not considering the possibility of selling him this summer.

The LaLiga side are under no pressure to sell as his contract runs until 2024.

Real Madrid also retain an interest in Torres and reportedly made contact with Villarreal months ago to enquire about his situation.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Villarreal defender Pau Torres. But Villarreal manager Unai Emery sees the 24-year-old centre back as a key part of his plans. Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly have failed to establish themselves in United's team

Torres has made 27 appearances in LaLiga this season, scoring two goals.

He made his debut for the Spanish national team in 2019 and has gone on to win seven caps.

Manchester United have made no secret of their desire to sign another centre half to partner Harry Maguire.

The Red Devils have played Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof alongside the England defender, but both have failed to establish themselves in United's first team.
