Manchester United 'ready to listen to offers for David de Gea' and could sell him in the summer' with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ready to make Dean Henderson his No 1 goalkeeper

* Manchester United will reportedly listen to offers for David de Gea this summer
* While United will not transfer list the player, they will consider their options
* Dean Henderson is ready to stake his claim as the club's No 1 goalkeeper
* Solskjaer is keen to keep Henderson but the keeper is growing impatient
* Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in De Gea

Manchester United will listen to offers for David de Gea this summer, according to reports.

The Spaniard is currently the club's No 1 goalkeeper but the emergence of academy graduate Dean Henderson in recent years has left question marks over his Old Trafford future.

According to a report from 90min, United will consider their options to move De Gea on but will not actively put him on the transfer list out of respect for their long-serving goalkeeper.

Manchester United will reportedly listen to offers for David de Gea (pictured) this summer

The report goes on to claim that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ready to promote Henderson as his No 1 to fend off interest from a number of Premier League rivals.

Henderson has grown impatient with his role at the club and wants a permanent position in the starting XI, otherwise he will consider a move elsewhere to get more minutes.

Tottenham are interested in the 23-year-old, who enjoyed two successful loan spells at Sheffield United, and will enquire about the Englishman if Hugo Lloris departs in the summer.

Lloris, who is out of contract next summer, has previously been linked with PSG, but the French club may now focus on a move for De Gea instead.

De Gea has been at United for almost a decade but with his form dipping in recent years, it is uncertain whether he will remain at Old Trafford next season.

If De Gea was to leave, it would pave the way for Dean Henderson to become United's No 1. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to promote Henderson as United's No 1 goalkeeper in the future

Given their financial resources, PSG – who have been linked with the Spain international – would be able to afford his wages of £375,000-a-week - the highest in the Premier League - and would also be able to stump up a significant transfer fee to tempt United to sell.

Henderson, who started against Crystal Palace earlier this week, is set to get an opportunity to stake his claim to be above De Gea in the pecking order after the Spaniard flew back home to attend the birth of his daughter.

De Gea has made 434 appearances for United so far and was widely regarded as one of the best keepers in the world until recent seasons, where he has come in for criticism for making high-profile errors.

Manchester United 'looking into swoop for Pau Torres' as alternative to Raphael Varane with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer viewing Villarreal centre-back as long-term partner for Harry Maguire

* Manchester United have been linked with Raphael Varane and Jules Kounde
* Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to sign a centre-back in this summer's window
* Pau Torres is said to be seen as Harry Maguire's ideal partner as he is left-footed
* Torres has played 31 games for Villarreal this season and has seven Spain caps

Manchester United are eyeing a move for Villarreal centre-back Pau Torres as an ideal long-term partner for Harry Maguire, according to reports.

Old Trafford chiefs have identified centre-back as a priority position to strengthen in the summer, with the likes of Real Madrid duo Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos, as well as Sevilla star Jules Kounde, being linked.

However, Manchester Evening News claim Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and United are now looking at a possible deal for Spain international Torres, who is viewed as an ideal partner for club captain Maguire as he is left-footed and likely to be cheaper than 'dream' signing Varane.

Manchester United are eyeing Villarreal centre-back Pau Torres, according to reports. Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly views Torres as an ideal partner for Harry Maguire. Man City also admire Torres but he is not seen as a priority after they signed Ruben Dias

Torres has established himself as a regular starter for the Spanish outfit over the course of the last two seasons, and the link with United follows reports late last month from Eurosport that he has a £43million release clause in his contract.

The 24-year-old - who has made 31 appearances and scored two goals across all competitions for Unai Emery's men this season - has also been capped seven times by his country, most recently under Luis Enrique in November's international break.

The report from the Manchester-based outlet also adds that rivals Manchester City admire Torres, who is considered to be the leading candidate to partner Ramos for Spain at the delayed Euros this summer.

But with Pep Guardiola having recruited Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake last summer, the position is not seen as a pressing issue at the Etihad Stadium and therefore it is United who they claim would be the most likely of the two to actually make a move at the end of the current campaign.

He is also reportedly a viable alternative to 'dream' signing Raphael Varane from Real Madrid

Other Premier League sides are also said to admire Torres, and the same outlet also claims European giants Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also interested.

Sportsmail revealed earlier this month that Varane will be sold by Madrid for more than £60m if he does not sign a new deal, but the Old Trafford club are mindful of paying what they consider inflated prices in the current climate.

That unwillingness is also understood to be behind their reluctance to meet France centre-back Kounde's £68m release clause at Sevilla, although the club do retain an interest in one of Europe's best defensive prospects.

Sevilla's Jules Kounde has also been linked but United are unwilling to meet his release clause

Solskjaer has seen his side keep five clean sheets in their last six matches but is still eager to recruit more defenders in the summer given his apparent lack of satisfaction with current options.

Victor Lindelof has continued in his ability to convince alongside Maguire while Eric Bailly's injury record is becoming increasingly concerning at Old Trafford.

Axel Tuanzebe has lacked consistency and form since a loan spell at Aston Villa two seasons ago, while Phil Jones looks set to leave on a free at the end of the season having not featured for the club in a year.

Default Re: [2020-2021] Manchester United ~ Transfer Rumors

Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves urges his old club to prioritise signing Leicester centre back Wesley Fofana and West Ham's Declan Rice... despite David Moyes saying the Englishman is worth more than £100million!

* Wesley Fofana has been a key reason for Leicester sitting third at the moment
* Declan Rice has also been instrumental in West Ham's impressive season
* Owen Hargreaves believes Manchester United should target the pair
* Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane have also been linked with the Red Devils

Owen Hargreaves has urged former club Manchester United to splash the cash and prioritise signing Declan Rice and Wesley Fofana.

Many Red Devils fans would like to see a better central defensive partner for Harry Maguire, with Fofana turning his heads in his debut season at Leicester as his strong positional sense and composure on the ball have contributed to the Foxes sitting third in the Premier League table and saw him keep Caglar Soyuncu out of the side earlier in the campaign.

Rice meanwhile would strengthen competition for places in defensive midfield, with Scott McTominay, Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba and Fred being rotated by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season.

Owen Hargreaves thinks Manchester United should sign Declan Rice and Wesley Fofana. Fofana has impressed with his composure on the ball since arriving at Leicester last summer

Rice has regularly worn the captain's armband for West Ham despite being just 22 years old

The England international will also add leadership experience having first donned the captain's armband for West Ham aged just 20, with his manager David Moyes valuing him at more £100million.

Hargreaves would be willing to stump up the money though and eulogised over Rice on Premier League Productions.

'I think Rice's upside is off the charts. He has the potential to be anything and a lot better... I think he plays within himself at West Ham,' he said.

'People don't realise how big he is... he's 6ft 3in, so he looks like a centre back, but he's actually really good technically.

'I'm not a big fan of players who just play in there and pass it around, you have to stop players too.

'Declan Rice doesn't have to dictate the game for Man Utd, he can pass to the players who can make the difference and be good defensively.'

United have been linked with Real Madrid centre-half duo Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos

Hargreaves also strongly recommended that his old employers buy Fofana, even though the Premier League giants have been linked with the likes of Real Madrid centre backs Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos.

'I'd love to see Manchester United get Fofana... he's a Ferrari, honestly,' said the former England midfielder.

'I'd throw whatever they've got left in the bank to get him. He's a fabulous player.'

Manchester United are 'favourites to sign £30m Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic'... with Serie A star already 'packing his bags' for Premier League move after turning down new contract

* Manchester United are clear favourites to sign Fiorentina star Nikola Milenković
* The £30m defender has turned down a contract extension for a summer move
* United have reportedly been in contact with the Serb's agent since last summer

Manchester United are clear favourites to sign £30million Fiorentina star Nikola Milenkovic, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report suggests that both United and their Premier League rivals Liverpool are showing an interest in the 23-year-old defender, but Old Trafford will be his most likely destination.

Milenkovic's contract with Fiorentina runs until 2022, but both himself and Franck Ribery 'have their bags packed' ready to leave this summer after turning down extensions.

The Italian media outlet have also explained the Serbian international's agent has been in contact with the Red Devils since last summer.

The player is keen to make a move to England work and Manchester United will have some competition for his signature.

The Serie A side will not budge on their £30million asking price, which by all accounts United chief Ed Woodward is happy to oblige with paying.

Milenkovic joined Fiorentina back in 2017 for just £5million after coming through the ranks of his boyhood Serbian club Partizan.

The towering 6 foot 5 defender is preferably a centre-back but can also play in the right back position after becoming a mainstay in the Fiorentina side.

Manchester United are set for a busy summer transfer window after declaring that Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland is their 'No 1 priority'.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also looking to offload more dead wood, with Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Phil Jones and Diogo Dalot all reportedly facing the exit door in the coming months.

Manchester United 'may sell Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Phil Jones and Diogo Dalot this summer to raise an extra £60m in transfer funds - with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer given an initial £80m budget to spend in upcoming window'

* Man United will have a £80million budget to spend this summer, claim reports
* Selling Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Phil Jones and Diogo Dalot would increase that
* That quartet would raise the budget to £140m as the Red Devils look to rebuild
* United want a centre back, defensive midfielder, right winger and striker

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could look look to offload four of his fringe players this summer in order to free up funds to improve his Manchester United squad.

According to Metro, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Phil Jones and Diogo Dalot could all be heading for the Old Trafford exit door in the upcoming window for a combined £60million.

The publication reports that Solskjaer has only been given a transfer budget of £80m to spend - which isn't enough for his overhaul of the Red Devils.

Jesse Lingard (left) and Diogo Dalot (both pictured on loan) could be sold by Man United. Lingard has excelled on loan at West Ham and United hope they will meet his £20m valuation. Diogo Dalot has also done well on loan and the Red Devils would look for around the same fee

Like everyone else, United have been severely hampered financially due to the coronavirus pandemic. In the previous summer window Solskjaer spent £92.4m on five signings: Donny van de Beek (Ajax, £40m), Alex Telles (Porto, £15.4m), Facundo Pellistri (Penarol, £10m), Edinson Cavani (free) and Amad Diallo (Atalanta, £37m) - although the latter officially joined in the winter window.

This spending was offset by the £18m sale of Chris Smalling to Roma and Alexis Sanchez's free transfer to Inter Milan - releasing the club of his eye-watering £560,000-per-week wages.

And Solskjaer may have to sell some more of his unwanted squad in order to continue his rebuild.

It is believed that the Norwegian is targeting a centre back, defensive midfielder, right winger and centre forward - an outlay that will invariably cost more than £80m.

Lingard and Dalot are both impressing on their respective loan spells at West Ham and Milan - meaning United could generate cash from those clubs.

Lingard, 28, only has a season left on his current United deal but they are hopeful West Ham will meet their £20m valuation of him this summer, should he leave.

Juan Mata (left) and Phil Jones could also be heading for the United exit door this summer. United are expected to trigger a 12-month extension in Mata's contract before selling him. Jones has not played for United since their FA Cup fourth-round 6-1 win at Tranmere last term. Selling those four would increase Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's summer budget from £80m to £140m

Dalot, who joined AC Milan on a season-long loan at the start of the season, has two years left on his current deal and United hope to sell him for slightly more than the £17.4m they paid Porto for his services in June 2018.

Mata, 32, is out of contract this summer but the Red Devils are expected to trigger his 12-month extension clause before looking to sell. Italian trio Juventus, Inter Milan and Roma are all interested in the Spaniard.

Jones' Old Trafford career has been plagued by injuries and the centre back hasn't played for the club since since January 26, 2020 - a 6-1 FA Cup fourth-round win at Tranmere Rovers, in which he scored.

He is currently trying to overcome a longstanding knee problem that will see him likely miss the entire season.

The 28-year-old has two years left on his contract and United hope to recoup £10m for him with Newcastle, Burnley and West Ham all having shown an interest in the previous 18 months.

Manchester United 'eye £51m Sporting Lisbon winger Pedro Goncalves as a cheaper alternative to Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho'... and hope 22-year-old can follow in Bruno Fernandes' footsteps

* Sporting Lisbon's Pedro Goncalves has a £51.7million release clause in his deal
* Manchester United view the 22-year-old as a viable Jadon Sancho alternative
* The former Wolves prospect has scored 15 goals in 21 league games this season

Manchester United reportedly believe Sporting Lisbon wideman Pedro Goncalves can be a cheaper alternative to Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho in their search for a right-sided attacking player.

According to The Telegraph, Goncalves has piqued United's interest with a superb tally of 15 goals from 21 games in the Primeira Liga, and with a mooted release clause of £51.7million would prove about half as expensive as Sancho.

United chiefs failed to agree a deal with Dortmund over Sancho last summer after eschewing the chance to sign the Englishman for £108m.

It is understood the German side would not still be holding out that much due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic, but the Red Devils still recognise signing Sancho would blow a massive hole in their budget.

Seeing 22-year-old Goncalves as a genuine possibility instead of Sancho, as well as the emergence of 18-year-old Amad Diallo, means the club are not as desperately keen for the ex-Manchester City winger as they previously were.

Goncalves' positional flexibility - he can play in central midfield and on either wing - would make him a useful and versatile option for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who would rubber-stamp a potential move even after the announcement of John Murtough as director of football.

Manchester United are eyeing up Sporting Lisbon winger Pedro Goncalves (pictured above). Goncalves has impressed with 15 goals in 21 Primeira Liga appearances so far this campaign. United failed in their pursuit of £108m-rated Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho last summer. United chiefs consider former Wolves wideman Goncalves as a viable alternative to Sancho

The Portugal Under 21 international spent two years at Wolves from 2017 to 2019, making one League Cup appearance, before moving to Sporting Lisbon after impressing at Famalicao.

He has impressed hugely for Sporting in Bruno Fernandes' absence, and United are more willing to sanction a move given how successfully Fernandes made the switch from Portugal to Old Trafford.

United have also signed Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani from the club, and it is understood the good relationship the two sides enjoy may grease the wheels of a prospective move across Europe.

Manchester United 'are keeping tabs on Barcelona starlet Ilaix Moriba', with wonderkid's contract at the Nou Camp due to expire at the end of next season

* Manchester United and RB Leipzig are reported to be monitoring Ilaix Moriba
* The Barcelona teenager's contract at the Nou Camp expires next year
* His father, also his agent, has stated it is their intention to remain with Barcelona
* Moriba has made four La Liga appearances and scored his first goal this month

Manchester United and RB Leipzig are among the clubs monitoring Barcelona teenager Ilaix Moriba should the teenager decide to leave Spain.

The 18-year-old, who already has a buy-out clause of £86m, has made four La Liga appearances this season, and came off the bench in the second leg of Barcelona's Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.

Moriba's contract at the Nou Camp expires in 2022, and while his father, also his agent, has said that as things stands it is the player's intention to remain at the club, Mundo Deportivo report that Manchester United and Leipzig are both watching the situation keenly.

United are not the only English side interested though, with Chelsea also believed to be keeping tabs on Moriba should the La Liga giants be unable to tie the teenager down to a new deal.

Moriba, who scored his first La Liga goal earlier this month against Osasuna, joined Barcelona's academy in 2010 and has been a highly-rated talent at every age group since.

As his youth contract at Barcelona came to an end in 2019, Moriba was on the receiving end of offers from several clubs, including Manchester City.

Barcelona teenager Ilaix Moriba is attracting attention with his contract running out in 2022. Manchester United are among the clubs keeping tabs on the 18-year-old and his situation. The midfielder scored his first La Liga goal earlier this month against Osasuna

Indeed, the youngster's father, Mamady Kourouma, revealed it was only a late breakthrough in negotiations in Spain that prevented his son getting on a plane to England to sign a professional contract with Pep Guardiola's side.

'We met with Txiki Begiristain [City's sporting director] and he explained his entire project to us,' Kourouma said.

'We liked it because they bet a lot on him. A few weeks later we had the tickets to travel to Manchester and sign the contract.

'I cancelled it the morning that we had to go there. I wanted Ilaix to be an example and a reference for the next generations of Barcelona.

''We managed to reach an agreement where we all came out winning.'

Manchester United 'considering £50m-plus move for Wolves star Pedro Neto as alternative to £100m Jadon Sancho deal this summer'... five years after turning Portugal winger down following a trial

* Pedro Neto has scored five top-flight goals for a struggling Wolves this term
* His impressive displays for Wolves have caught the eye of Manchester United
* He is reportedly seen as an alternative to Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho
* Neto, 21, was rejected by United in 2016 when he was on trial from Braga

Manchester United are considering a move in excess of £50million for Wolves star Pedro Neto as an alternative to Jadon Sancho, according to reports.

The 21-year-old has been one of the few shining lights in a disappointing season for the West Midlands outfit, putting in a number of impressive displays to go with his five Premier League goals this season.

And The Sun claim his excellent displays have moved him up in the list of targets Old Trafford chiefs are looking at as they eye attacking reinforcements in the summer transfer window.

The report adds that he is viewed by United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and others at the club as a viable alternative to England stars Jack Grealish and Sancho, who ply their trade for Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund respectively.

Manchester United are eyeing a move in excess of £50m for Pedro Neto, according to reports. Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and United chiefs have been impressed with his displays for Wolves. The United hierarchy therefore see him as a viable alternative to Jadon Sancho

But the signing of the Portugal international now will prove to be much dearer than it would have been had they brought him to Old Trafford on the first possible occasion.

Neto had a trial at Carrington back in 2016 when he was still a teenager but he did not impress enough for United to consider bringing him in permanently from Braga in his home country.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side were the team who would eventually take Neto away from Braga, signing him in 2019 following a two-year loan spell at Lazio.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City have also been linked with a move for Neto, but the report claims they are now more likely to focus their attention on Grealish having moved ahead of their city rivals in the queue for the Villa captain.

Neto - whose Wolves side currently sit 13th in the Premier League table - made his Portugal debut in November last year in their thumping 7-0 victory against Andorra.

The same outlet refuses to rule out a move from the Old Trafford hierarchy for Sancho - who turns 21 on Thursday - but it will likely depend on the price and Dortmund's success in qualifying for next season's Champions League.

United have also been linked with a £51m move for Pedro Goncalves (right) of Sporting Lisbon

The Bundesliga side refused to concede any ground on their £100m valuation of Sancho last summer, but failure to qualify for Europe's elite club competition means they could be forced to sell some of their assets to make up for the loss of income.

Such a situation would likely not only put Sancho on the market but also Dortmund's star forward Erling Haaland.

United have also been linked with a £51m move for Pedro Goncalves of Sporting Lisbon as another Sancho alternative, while Leeds' impressive Brazilian Raphinha has also been mooted as a potential other name.

Default Re: [2020-2021] Manchester United ~ Transfer Rumors

Manchester United 'could move for Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris this summer' after nine years in north London amid doubt over David de Gea's future at Old Trafford 'with Spurs interested in Lille's Mike Maignan'

* Hugo Lloris could leave Spurs with Manchester United a possible destination
* Reports in France claim Tottenham are interested in Lille keeper Mike Maignan
* David de Gea has previously been under pressure at Old Trafford in recent years
* Lloris has also had his critics at Spurs after spending nine years in north London

Manchester United could sign Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris this summer as doubt over the future of David De Gea continues - while Spurs are weighing up Lille's Mike Maignan as a replacement, reports claim.

United are reported to be in the market for a new option in between the sticks amid doubt over De Gea's future, and Lloris could be an option for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men, according to L'Equipe.

Lloris himself is being touted for a Spurs exit this summer after nine years with the north Londoners - who are said to be assessing a number of potential replacements, and reports claim Maignan is one of them.

France and Spurs club captain Lloris will turn 34 this year and reports have claimed that his time with Tottenham could soon be up, with the likes of Nick Pope and United's Dean Henderson among the names linked.

And L'Equipe believes Old Trafford is a possible destination for Lloris should his countryman Maignan replace him.

Lloris has played 363 times for Spurs since joining from Lyon in 2012, playing in a Champions League final in 2019, but has never won a trophy for the club during a frustrating spell.

It could pave the way for the club to go in another direction with Maignan - who is receiving high praise for his performances for Lille this season. He has played all 30 of his side's Ligue 1 games and helped them to a tantalising title race with PSG. He also led them to the French Cup final against the Parisians, where they lost 3-0.

Hugo Lloris (left) could go to United this summer, with Mike Maignan his replacement at Spurs. David de Gea faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford after losing his place in the starting XI

The 25-year-old has one cap for France and will be a competitor of Lloris on the international stage - with Les Bleus sure to see him as a possible successor for the World Cup winner.

Meanwhile at United, Solskjaer will be keeping a close eye over the goalkeeping situation, with Henderson recently playing as first choice in the absence of De Gea, who went back to Spain for the birth of his child.

He has not played since late February and looks to have lost his place in the team, with Henderson largely faultless as his stand-in.

However, the Englishman has been courted by a number of clubs, so it could leave the door open for United to sign another experienced shot stopper.

Lloris mah gak jauh beda 11-12 lah sama De Gea sekarang, masa keemasan sudah lewat, mending matengin Henderson jadi kiper utama kalo gitu
