Chelsea blow as Neymar agrees Real Madrid move

Neymar is set to snub Chelsea in favour of a move to Real Madrid - who will agree a fee with Santos in the next week.



New Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has pinpointed the Brazilian starlet as a priority target but sources in Spain have revealed that Neymar is now set for La Liga.

It has been reported the 19-year-old is ready to pen a six-year deal worth around £26.75m with Madrid as soon as the two sides can agree a fee.

Santos have insisted they will not discuss the deal until after the second leg of the Copa Libertadores against Penarol tonight but will demand £40m from Madrid when they open talks.

But it is still not clear whether the La Liga side are prepared to pay so much for a relatively unproven teenager, leaving Chelsea with a glimmer of hope of still completing a deal.

Lassana Diarra menolak hijrah ke Juventus dan Galatasaray dan hanya ingin hengkang ke Manchester United.


Lassana Diarra menegaskan bahwa dirinya hanya berkenan hijrah ke Manchester United apabila memang harus meninggalkan Real Madrid.

Gelandang tangguh asal Prancis tersebut hanya tertarik pindah ke Old Trafford daripada bergabung dengan Juventus atau Galatasaray yang telah mengajukan penawaran untuk mendapatkannya.

Sementara itu, pelatih Real Madrid Jose Mourinho masih belum yakin akan melepas Diarra atau tidak pada bursa transfer musim panas nanti.

VIVAnews - Arsenal akan membuat kejutan di bursa transfer musim panas ini. Manajer Arsene Wenger berencana mendaratkan bek Manchester United John O'Shea ke Emirates Stadium.

Setelah enam musim tanpa gelar, kapasitas Wenger memang mulai diragukan. Kritikan demi kritikan semakin santer terdengar terutama kuartet pertahanan The Gunners yang dinilai sangat rapuh.

Bersama timnas Republik Irlandia, O'Shea melakoni debut pada 2001. Total telah 70 laga dilakoninya bersama timnas. Musim lalu, bersama MU, bek 30 tahun ini gagal tampil maksimal karena cedera. Ia hanya bermain sebanyak 20 kali.

Lyon left-back top priority for Wenger after Clichy departure



Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is to make Lyon left-back Aly Cissokho his prime target for that position after the departure of Gael Clichy to Manchester City.

The 23 year old has been heavily linked with a move to the Premiership but is not so keen on joining Liverpool, a side without European competition for the up and coming season. With Wenger’s love for all things French, he would certainly be choosing a player with right attributes.

Our source also claims that Cissokho is the player Wenger admires more and that Arsenal will not seek to pursue current Newcastle United left-back Jose Enrique – a target of Liverpool. It is also believed that the Emirates side have made enquiries for the defender and that a fee of £9m-£11m would close to accurate to seal the 23 year old.

Get me Benzema! Arsenal boss Wenger launches £27m bid for Real Madrid star

Arsene Wenger will launch a £27million move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema in an attempt to offset the likely loss of Arsenal stars Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.

Fabregas is close to a £34m move to Barcelona while Sportsmail revealed on Wednesday that Manchester City believe they have clinched the £19m signing of Nasri, having already landed Gael Clichy from the Emirates for £7m.



Benzema is the man Wenger wants to help Arsenal forget about the pending departures of their midfield duo and he is willing to smash the club's transfer record to do it.

The Arsenal boss knows losing Fabregas and Nasri will have a detrimental effect on supporter morale, although he will make one last bid to keep Nasri with the offer of a £100,000-a-week contract.

Arsenal are expected to announce the £10.7m signing of Lille striker Gervinho on Friday. The 24-year-old passed a medical on Wednesday but confirmation of the signing has been delayed by a small problem with paperwork. However, Wenger is still keen to sign another top-class forward to take the goalscoring burden off the injury prone Robin van Persie.

While Wenger recognises the goalscoring impact Benzema could have on the pitch, the Frenchman also hopes that signing his 24-year-old compatriot will prove to the club's current crop of stars that they can achieve their career ambitions with the Gunners

Benzema was in and out of Jose Mourinho's team last season due to injuries and a lack of form. Real president Florentino Perez and his adviser Zinedine Zidane are keen for the France striker to stay in Spain. But Mourinho wants to offload Benzema to fund a move for Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero.

Fabregas hopes to complete his move to Barcelona by the end of Friday after making it clear to Wenger that he wants to return to the Catalan team.The clubs are still haggling over the finer details of the deal, with Barca keen to use Brazilian left back Maxwell as a makeweight.

Wenger wants Leighton Baines to replace Clichy but has balked at Everton's £15m price tag and Barca hope the inclusion of Maxwell, 29, in the deal will be enough to finally land Fabregas

Gokhan Inler Comes In Like A Lion (Literally) at Napoli Unveiling



New signing unveilings are usually only exciting for the fans of the team in question and the agent of player (ka-ching). So what better way to spice them up than for the player to wear a lion mask, thereby indicating that the club had actually signed a player birthed from an an unholy union between man and beast?

We have Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentis to thank for the stunt. Apparently he convinced midfielder Gokhan Inler that wearing the mask would be kickass, or symbolic or something. The only disappointing part is that Inler didn’t fully commit to his role as a lion and answer questions in roars.

Fulham Gaet Riise

London, detiksport - Setelah tiga musim mencicipi kompetisi Seri A, John Arne Riise akhirnya kembali ke Liga Primer Inggris. Mantan pemain Liverpool ini digaet Fulham dari AS Roma.

Tak disebutkan berapa uang yang harus disetorkan Fulham kepada Roma untuk mendapatkan bek sayap berusia 30 tahun itu. Kabarnya, nilai transfernya sekitar 1,5 juta pounds.

Riise dikontrak The Cottagers selama tiga tahun. Dia akan bahu membahu dengan adiknya, Bjorn Helge Riise, yang lebih dulu bermukim di Craven Cottage.

"Saya senang sudah menuntaskan kepindahan saya ke Fulham pagi ini. Saya berharap bisa bermain di Premier League sekali lagi," ujar Riise di situs resmi Fulham, seperti dilansir Sky Sports.

"Fulham adalah klub yang selalu saya ikuti perkembangannya karena adik saya, Bjorn, bermain di sini. Dia banyak menyanjung klub ini dan para stafnya," tambahnya.

"Saya tahu klub ini ambisius, dan terus membuat perkembangan bagus tiap tahun, di bawah kepemimpinan Mohamed Al Fayed. Saya berharap bisa bekerja sama dengan Martin Jol dan para pemain lain saat saya bergabung ke latihan pekan depan," papar mantan pemain Monaco ini.

Jol memang butuh bek kiri baru untuk menghadapi musim depan. Pasalnya, Carlos Salcido yang selama ini diandalkan mengalami homesick.

"John Arne Riise adalah bek kiri internasional yang berpengalaman dan akan membawa sejumlah kualitas ke skuad kami. Dia juga memberi saya lebih banyak pilihan," kata Jol.

"Dia terbiasa tampil di level paling tinggi untuk klub dan negaranya. Dia adalah pemain bertahan yang bisa ikut membantu serangan kami," sambungnya.

"Saya sangat senang bisa menambahkan dia ke skuad kami. Saya yakin dia akan membuktikan diri bahwa dia adalah tambahan berharga seperti yang kami harapkan," simpul Jol.

Turin - Juventus akhirnya secara resmi mendapatkan Arturo Vidal dari Bayer Leverkusen. Di saat nyaris bersamaan, 'Si Nyonya Tua' juga melepas Felipe Melo dengan status pinjaman ke Galatasaray.

Kesepakatan antara Juventus dengan Leverkusen sesungguhnya sudah tercapai pekan lalu. Namun baru Sabtu (22/7/2011) kemarin waktu setempat Vidal menjalani tes medis dan meresmikan kepindahannya.

"Juventus mengumumkan tuntasnya kesepakatan dengan Bayer Leverkusen untuk mempermanenkan pemain Chile Arturo Vidal. Kontraknya bernilai 10,5 juta euro dan akan dibayar dalam tiga gelombang: 5 juta euro berbarengan dengan transfer, tiga juta eruo pada Juni 2012 dan 2,5 juta euro pada 31 Desember 2012," demikian pernyataan Juventus di situs resminya.

Nyaris berbarengan dengan kontrak lima tahun untuk Vidal, Juventus juga melepas Felipe Melo ke Galatasaray. Pesepakbola asal Basil itu statusnya dipinjamkan meski ada opsi permanen dengan nilai 13 juta euro.

Melo datang ke Juventus tahun 2009 lalu setelah sebelumnya satu musim berseragam Fiorentina. Selama dua musim di Juventus dia tercatat tampil di 53 pertandingan dan melesakkan empat gol.

Exclusive - Man City rule out Tevez-Sneijder swap deal

Manchester City have ruled out a possible swap deal between Carlos Tevez and Inter Milan star Wesley Sneijder.



Sources close to Eastlands have told talkSPORT manager Roberto Mancini has no interest in signing the Dutchman, either with or without Tevez moving in the opposite direction.

The deal to take Tevez back to Corinthians collapsed on Wednesday morning, with the Brazilian club claiming the deal with far too big to be concluded before Wednesday night's transfer deadline.

Questions remain whether Mancini will still bid for Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero. The Spanish side have recruited Deportivo La Coruna hitman Adrian Lopez to take the Argentines place.

Sneijder, meanwhile, still has his heart set on a move to Manchester United with work still going on behind the scenes to conclude the deal, despite Sir Alex Ferguson claiming the Red Devils have “no real interest” in the Inter Milan star.
