Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani are ALL 'up for sale in January because Ralf Rangnick thinks superstar trio are killing the mood in the Manchester United dressing room'

* Man United are expected to move players on before the January window closes
* Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani are reportedly up for sale
* Ralf Rangnick reportedly feels the trio have too much influence in dressing room

Ralf Rangnick is looking to sell Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani this month because they are 'killing the mood' in the Manchester United dressing room, according to reports.

United are expected to move some players on before the January transfer window closes, with the club aiming to cash in on Jesse Lingard before his contract expires in the summer.

Pogba is also set to become a free agent at the end of the season, and Bild are reporting that the midfielder is one of three players Rangnick wants out of his squad.

Along with Martial and Cavani, it is believed the interim United boss feels Pogba holds too much influence in the dressing room and is killing the mood amid his spell on the sidelines.

Ralf Rangnick is reportedly looking to sell Paul Pogba (L), Anthony Martial (C) and Edinson Cavani (R) this month. Rangnick reportedly feels trio are 'killing the mood' in the Manchester United dressing room

The Frenchman has been out of action since November with a hamstring injury, which could keep him out of action for the next two weeks.

Nevertheless, United are said to be hopeful of tying him down to a new deal despite Rangnick's reported desire to move him on this month.

Cavani is in a similar position to Pogba with his deal up in the summer, but the Uruguayan striker is keen to leave himself in January to play regular first-team football elsewhere.

As for Martial, he has already expressed his desire to leave Old Trafford in the near future and the feeling is mutual, with Rangnick hoping to offload him this month.

The 26-year-old's agent said last month: 'Anthony wishes to leave the club in January.

'He just needs to play. He doesn't want to stay in January and I will speak to the club soon.'

Nice 'join the race to sign out-of-favour Manchester United playmaker Jesse Lingard'... but 'Newcastle are still trying to convince Red Devils to sell 29-year-old this month'

* Jesse Lingard's contract at Manchester United expires in the summer
* The 29-year-old is struggling for game-time under Ralf Rangnick at Old Trafford
* The England international has been linked with a move to Newcastle United
* But latest reports state Ligue 1 side Nice are also interested in Lingard

Ligue 1 side Nice are reportedly interested in signing Jesse Lingard and have entered the race for the Manchester United playmaker.

The 29-year-old, who flourished on loan at West Ham in the second-half of last season, has again struggled for game-time at Old Trafford this season.

His contract at the Red Devils expires at the end of the season and with an extension unlikely, United could sell this month to avoid losing Lingard on a free this summer.

Now, French outlet Foot Mercato report that Nice - currently second in the French first division - are interested in bringing Lingard to Ligue 1.

The report details that there is competition between several clubs for Lingard's signature, including West Ham and Newcastle.

Nice boss Christophe Galtier approached Lingard about a move a year ago before he joined David Moyes' Hammers.

Recent reports state Newcastle have returned with a second loan offer for Manchester United's Lingard.

While Lingard is keen on a move to St James' Park, he would only consider joining on loan.

That means Newcastle will almost certainly have to pay a sizeable loan fee to satisfy both United and the England forward, who wants to keep his options open.

Lingard has not started in the Premier League this season and is desperate for first-team football in a World Cup year.

Anthony Martial closing in on Sevilla loan move for a £5m fee as Manchester United forward agrees to take a wage cut - but there is NO option for the LaLiga title chasers to buy him in the summer

* Anthony Martial has expressed his desire to leave Manchester United this month
* Several clubs have shown an interest in him, but Sevilla have agreed a loan deal
* Martial, 26, has accepted a salary reduction in order to make the move happen
* Julen Lopetegui’s side are currently second in La Liga, behind Real Madrid

Sevilla are finalising terms with Manchester United over a season loan deal for Anthony Martial after further talks on Monday.

The Spanish side are understood to have offered a £5million loan fee while Martial was willing to take a pay cut to make the deal happen.

Once United rubber-stamp the agreement, France international Martial expects to fly to Sevilla on Tuesday with agent Philippe Lamboley to undergo a medical, however, there is no option to buy in the deal.

The 26-year-old had told United he wanted to leave with Sevilla his first choice. There were tentative approaches from other clubs such as Newcastle and Tottenham but Martial was keen to go abroad. Juventus and Barcelona were also interested but did not want to take on his salary.

Sevilla are challenging Real Madrid for the Spanish title with 16 games left and Martial is excited by the prospect of a new start after growing stale and frustrated at United.

Sportsmail revealed last month that Martial, who joined from Monaco for £36m in 2015, had held face to face talks with Ralf Rangnick about how he wanted a change of scenery.

That view has not been altered even though Martial featured for the first time since interim United boss Rangnick took charge when he came on as a substitute in Saturday's 1-0 win against West Ham.

Anthony Martial has started just two Premier League games for Manchester United this season. Ralf Rangnick claimed that Martial refused to be in the matchday squad earlier this month

Martial has made 11 United appearances this season, scoring a single goal, against Everton on October 2.

United will make a decision this week on whether to allow Jesse Lingard to leave amid interest from Newcastle United. Lingard is currently in Dubai but Newcastle have been pushing for a response on his future with West Ham monitoring developments.

Meanwhile, Sevilla are asking £40m from Newcastle United for defender Diego Carlos with around £32m on the table.

Newcastle have also asked about Liverpool defender Nat Phillips.

Liverpool are reluctant to let him out on oan but would be willing to sell for around £15million. They have already rejected a £7m offer from Watford while PSV Eindhoven also made an enquiry for the 24-year-old centre-back but only wanted a loan.

Newcastle are working through a raft of targets as they try to add new signings before the window closes next week.

West Ham are ready to rival Newcastle in pursuit of out-of-favour Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard, says Hammers' coach Stuart Pearce... but top four chase could count against David Moyes' side bagging his return

* Jesse Lingard is a man in demand ahead of Monday's January transfer deadline
* The 29-year-old is into the last six months of his deal with Manchester United
* He thrived on loan at West Ham in the second half of the 2020-21 campaign
* Stuart Pearce, West Ham assistant, has said they are keen to bring Lingard back

West Ham are keen to reunite with Jesse Lingard before Monday's January transfer window deadline, reveals Hammers' assistant manager Stuart Pearce.

Lingard, 29, is into the final six months of his contract with Manchester United and an extension does not appear forthcoming to keep the midfielder at Old Trafford.

The England international impressed on loan at West Ham, joining in the previous January window, as he went on to score nine goals and add five assists in just 16 matches.

Lingard returned to Manchester United with his reputation enhanced but that did not translate itself into game-time.

He has not started a Premier League game so far this season and with a World Cup in Qatar on the horizon later in the calendar year, Pearce knows Lingard needs a move to ensure regular football.

'Jesse is a commodity that is not playing for his football club that would be a benefit to a lot of clubs in the Premier League, that would be my personal opinion,' Pearce, now a first-team coach at West Ham, told talkSPORT.

'Our [club] is certainly one of them, there is no doubt.

Jesse Lingard is down the pecking order at Manchester United and is generating interest. West Ham coach Stuart Pearce has revealed the London side are keen on him in January. Lingard revived his career on loan at West Ham in the second half of last season with nine goals. Man United interim boss Ralf Rangnick (left) has remained coy on the midfielder's future

'Everyone is aware that we tried to get Jesse back again last summer and that will continue probably in this window as well but that is down to Jesse.

'Jesse has six months of his contract left, he will decide and Manchester Untied more importantly will decide what his future is for the next six months.'

Lingard, who earns in the region of £100,000 a week at Manchester United, is one of Newcastle's main targets as they look to bolster before the close of the window.

But Sportsmail understands Lingard is reluctant to join a Newcastle side battling relegation unless it was a loan deal, which is complicated given Manchester United are keen to recoup a significant fee, rather than lose him for nothing come the summer.

Asked about Lingard's future last week, Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick remained coy.

'With regard to Jesse, it's the same as with quite a few other players,' he told reporters.

'He's a really good player, I see that in every training session.

'For me it's normal that other clubs like, for example, Newcastle show interest in him.

'I'm not the one who is dealing with that. I know there might be some interest from other clubs. But if you ask me now what will happen in the next 10 days until the closure of the window, I can't answer that question I'm afraid.'

West Ham are battling Manchester United for a top four spot this season and that tussle could see any reunion with Pearce and David Moyes in east London vetoed by the United hierarchy.

Crystal Palace and Valencia 'make contact with Man United over loan move for outcast Donny van de Beek'... but the Red Devils will NOT include an option to buy the Dutchman in any deal

* Donny van de Beek has failed to nail down a place in the Manchester United side
* Dutchman joined from Ajax to much fanfare but has never convinced at club
* United still want to keep him around for next season despite numerous offers
* Crystal Palace and Valencia have both enquired about taking him on loan

Crystal Palace and Valencia have enquired about a loan move for Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek.

The Dutchman is enduring another season of frustration at Old Trafford and has not nailed down a spot in the midfield.

According Fabrizio Romano, Palace and Valencia have asked United over is availability for a loan but Ralf Rangnick is reluctant to let him go.

He says United are refusing any loans with the option to buy as they want him to remain in the squad next season.

Van de Beek joined United from Ajax in 2020 for £34m but failed to sufficiently impress Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

He has also struggled for minutes since Rangnick took charge and wants regular playing time, whether that is at United or elsewhere.

Donny van de Beek has struggled for game time and is a loan target for multiple clubs. Ralf Rangnick wants to keep the Dutchman around and he will not be sold as part of any deal. Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace have made an enquiry about signing the midfielder

Michael Carrick gave him time in all three matches while he was in interim charge, although two of those appearances were as a substitute.

United allowed Anthony Martial out on loan to Sevilla and it remains to be seen how many players they will permit to depart for the second half of the season.

Valencia are 10th in LaLiga while Patrick Vieira's Eagles are currently 13th in the Premier League.

Manchester United are now prepared to let Jesse Lingard leave on loan after his talks with Ralf Rangnick from Dubai - but Newcastle are still some way apart with Old Trafford club on agreeing a fee

* Manchester United have rejected offers to let Jesse Lingard leave on loan
* The Red Devils though have agreed for Anthony Martial to join Sevilla on loan
* Progress has been made after Lingard spoke to interim boss Ralf Rangnick
* Lingard and Donny van de Beek could be set to leave the club on loan
* United are in advanced talks with Newcastle over a potential loan for Lingard
* Crystal Palace and Valencia are both interested in midfielder Van de Beek

Manchester United are in talks over loaning out Jesse Lingard and Donny van de Beek after allowing Anthony Martial to join Sevilla for the rest of the season.

Negotiations with Newcastle continued on Tuesday over a deal for Lingard that could see the club’s Saudi owners pay a loan fee and substantial bonus if they stay up, as well as covering his £100,000-a-week wages.

Having rejected offers from top-four rivals Tottenham and West Ham, United are understood to have sanctioned Lingard’s move to Tyneside after he spoke to interim manager Ralf Rangnick from Dubai where the player has been staying at the start of the winter break.

However, the two clubs are thought to be some way apart in negotiations with six days to go until the January transfer window closes.

United could let both Lingard and Donny van de Beek (pictured) leave the club on loan

Lingard is set to end a 21-year association with United in the summer when he leaves Old Trafford as a free agent, and doesn’t want to spend the remaining five months of his contract playing a bit-part role.

The 29-year-old England international has started just two games this season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Rangnick, and is desperate to reclaim a place in Gareth Southgate’s squad ahead of this year’s World Cup.

Lingard wants to join Newcastle, having enjoyed a successful loan spell at West Ham last year, and has become increasingly frustrated with United’s reluctance to let him leave this month.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are interested in signing Van de Beek, another of United’s peripheral players, on a short-term basis.

United blocked the Dutchman’s proposed loan move to Everton last summer, but may be more open to offers now with Valencia said to be another option.

Martial flew to Spain on Tuesday to complete his loan move to Sevilla. It’s understood the Spanish club have not paid a fee but will cover the cost of his £200,000-a-week salary.

Newcastle have all but given up hope of reviving Jesse Lingard loan deal after Saudi owners baulked at Manchester United's demand for a £12MILLION survival bonus - with the England star FUMING at Old Trafford bosses

* Jesse Lingard is wanted on loan by Newcastle after being unused at Man United
* United demanded an initial £2.5m loan fee plus a £12m survival bonus though
* This included covering the 29-year-old's £100,000-a-week wages in full too
* Lingard is upset that his boyhood club are driving such a hard bargain in the deal

Jesse Lingard's loan move to Newcastle looks dead in the water over Manchester United's demands for a £12million survival bonus.

After a day of deadlock and rapidly deteriorating relations between United and the Lingard camp, Newcastle have all but given up hope of reviving the deal.

It is understood the club's new Saudi Arabian owners baulked at the bonus - payable if they stay in the Premier League - in addition to a £2.5m loan fee and the player's £100,000-a-week wages.

The potential cost of loaning Lingard for the final four months of his United contract would be £16.5m, the equivalent of £1m-a-week, making it one of the most expensive loan deals in history.

United believe that is a fair price for an experienced England international and say the bonus is reasonable considering the financial impact of relegation from the top flight.

Club sources also argue Lingard could have made a permanent move this month, but wants to leave Old Trafford on a more lucrative free transfer at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old, on the other hand, is angry and frustrated over the club's stance after United had already rejected loan offers from Tottenham and West Ham because they are seen as top-four rivals. Leicester, Everton and Burnley have also expressed an interest.

Lingard believes he is being punished for refusing to sign a new contract at Old Trafford, or agree a permanent transfer that would guarantee United a fee. He also feels let down that he has made just two starts this season after being promised opportunities by former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the summer.

Jesse Lingard is furious with Manchester United after they denied his loan move to Newcastle. He's keen to leave on loan by the end of the transfer window but United's demands are too high. Newcastle are Lingard's preferred destination despite approaches from West Ham and Spurs. The 29-year-old felt he was given false promises by former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Lingard, who is currently in Dubai, has been holding discussions with Ralf Rangnick

Interim boss Ralf Rangnick spoke to Lingard, who is currently in Dubai, by telephone on Tuesday and gave him the green light to leave, the German telling him he is not part of his plans.

A source close to the player said: 'It's pointless Jesse going into work now, knowing he isn't going to feature.'

It is understood Lingard was surprised to receive a call from one United executive asking him where his 'head was at', when it is common knowledge that he wants to make a fresh start at another club after a successful loan at West Ham last year.

He now faces being stuck at United for the rest of the season with little prospect of playing.

Newcastle remain in talks with Lyon over a £30m move for Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes. Manager Eddie Howe is hopeful of landing the deep-lying playmaker, but the French club released an angry statement yesterday denying a deal had been agreed.

Guimaraes is said to be keen on the move and a medical has provisionally been booked in for tomorrow, following Brazil's game in Ecuador this evening.

Newcastle will return with a second offer for Brighton defender Dan Burn after an £8m approach was rejected. They also expect to sign Bayer Leverkusen left back Mitchel Bakker for £16m if the German club find a replacement.

PSG 'remain in contact with Marcus Rashford ahead of potential summer move for the Man United star... with Ligue 1 giants having targeted England forward last summer in case Kylian Mbappe left'

* Marcus Rashford has struggled for goals for Man United for most of the season
* But the 24-year-old has netted twice in as many games to regain confidence
* PSG are reportedly still in contact with him ahead of summer transfer window
* They saw him as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe in case he left last summer

Paris Saint-Germain are in contact with Marcus Rashford ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports.

The 24-year-old appeared to be struggling for goals this season, netting just two in his first 11 Premier League games of the season.

But two goals in his last two matches - the latest a last-gasp winner against West Ham at Old Trafford - has seen his confidence boosted.

But independent journalists in France, Hadrien Grenier and Abdellah Boulma, claim Ligue 1 giants PSG are trying to lure the England forward away from Old Trafford.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly in contact with Marcus Rashford ahead of the summer transfer window. PSG were reportedly interested in him last summer in case Kylian Mbappe left the club

They report that Rashford is 'seduced' by the idea of joining the French capital side, who can boast the talent of Neymar and Lionel Messi.

The duo also add the Ligue 1 leaders targeted Rashford last summer, just in case French counterpart Kylian Mbappe joined Real Madrid.

However, the 23-year-old is out of contract in the summer and looks destined to leave the Parc des Princes for the Santiago Bernabeu.

Rashford meanwhile has fewer than 18 months remaining on the £200,000-per-week deal he signed in 2019, although United have the option to extend it for another year.

The England star has scored 93 goals in 288 games since breaking into Louis van Gaal's United side during the 2015-16 season.

Man United target Joao Palhinha opens up on being put 'at ease' by Cristiano Ronaldo after his first international call-up, with superstar tipped to be crucial if club move for the Sporting midfielder

* Manchester United have been linked with a move for Portugal's Joao Palhinha
* Palhinha revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo put him 'at ease' on international duty
* This connection may prove crucial in United's pursuit of a midfielder this month

Cristiano Ronaldo may prove crucial to helping Manchester United solve their midfield woes, with the superstar holding a close relationship with rumoured transfer target Joao Palhinha.

The two are said to have spoken while on international duty with Portugal, meaning United could have been handed a major boost as they ponder over swooping in for the highly-rated Sporting Lisbon man.

It has been suggested that Palhinha wants to play in the Premier League one day, after catching the eye at the same club which thrust a teenaged Ronaldo into the spotlight before he joined United.

The Mirror report that Sporting wanted £33million for the 26-year-old but, after no concrete bids were lodged, will now settle for a fee of around £25m. This may tempt United to act, with Ralf Rangnick keen for reinforcements.

Palhinha has also admitted that playing alongside Ronaldo for their country brings him 'pride'. Ronaldo could even use their friendship in a bid to aid Manchester United's midfield dilemma

And if they were to mount a pursuit, they have already been handed a major advantage - with Palhinha opening up on how superstar Ronaldo helped him after receiving his first call-up for their country.

'Cristiano always put me at ease. I was used to seeing him on television since I was little, but the fact of being in front of him made my first call even more real,' he said.

'Being in the national team with him is a great source of pride for any player.'

The Mirror have added that Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are also keen on the star, which could spark United to move quickly to snap him up in this window.

Sporting boss Ruben Amorim, meanwhile, has been coy over any potential exit for Palhinha, simply insisting that he 'doesn't know' what may happen.

'Palhinha goes to the game. Regarding the market, we don't know,' Amorim said.

'Seven days to go. It's a short space, everyone will know what's going to happen, it's not worth thinking about.

'Palhinha is [ready] to play and is doing very well.

'I trust that I can stay with Palhinha, but football has things that we do not control, we know that the situation of the club and the country has not changed that much.

'I'm counting on Palhinha and I hope he continues.'

Default Re: [2021-2022] Manchester United ~ Transfer Rumors

Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson in talks with Newcastle over shock loan move, with Red Devils boss Ralf Rangnick green-lighting deal... but it looks set to end the Magpies' pursuit of Jesse Lingard due to Premier League loan limit rules

* Newcastle have opened talks with Manchester United to sign Dean Henderson
* The England goalkeeper has been left frustrated as United's No 2 this season
* United boss Ralf Rangnick has approved loan deal despite initial reluctance
* But the switch could end pursuit of Jesse Lingard due to top flight loan rules

Newcastle United are in talks with Manchester United over a loan move for goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

Sources say there is a chance of a deal being struck before Monday's transfer deadline.

Henderson, 24, wants to leave Old Trafford having found himself deputy to David de Gea this season.

The Magpies have a long-standing interest in the England stopper and are now pushing ahead with a move.

Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is in talks over a loan move to Newcastle. United interim boss Ralf Rangnick has reluctantly agreed to Henderson's demands to leave. Henderson has grown frustrated in his role as understudy to David de Gea. But the loan move will mean a likely end to trying to sign Jesse Lingard for Newcastle

Newcastle No 1 Martin Dubravka has suffered with injury in recent seasons and did not play during their friendly match in Saudi Arabia on Friday evening.

Should Henderson arrive, it would rule out a loan move for United forward Jesse Lingard, as clubs cannot loan two players from the same team.

Henderson held talks with former boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has since spoken with interim manager Ralf Rangnick, but was told he was needed with the club still in the Champions League.

However, after making it clear he wanted a chance to play, Rangnick has relented and talks are underway over a loan deal.

His signing would represent another coup for Newcastle following the £33m signing of Bruno Guimaraes from Lyon. Dan Burn is also poised to join from Brighton in a £13m deal.

United remain talks with Everton and Crystal Palace regarding a loan departure for Donny van de Beek and with Bordeaux over defender Phil Jones.

Rangnick could be viewed as taking a risk letting Henderson go, but with Tom Heaton in reserve he wants to be fair to the keeper, who is eager to get his career back on track.

Rangnick has set about streamlining his bloated squad in the hope it can bring in funds and better harmony and balance. Anthony Martial has left for Sevilla, Amad Diallo has joined Rangers but Lingard will remain a frustrated figure if he can't find an exit over the next 24 hours.
