Default Paulo Dybala

Paulo Dybala tells Manchester United he wants to be the second-highest earner in Premier League history as he asks for £350,000-a-week contract

* Paulo Dybala is closing in on a switch to Manchester United in a swap deal
* Romelu Lukaku is set to go in the opposite direction and sign for Juventus
* Dybala laid down his wage demands to United and wants £350,000 per week
* He would become one of the league's highest earners alongside Alexis Sanchez

Paulo Dybala has told Manchester United he wants £350,000 per week to join them from Juventus and enable Romelu Lukaku to complete his move to Italy.

An agreement on Dybala’s personal terms will be the final piece in the jigsaw for one of the summer window’s most exciting transfers.

His representatives have made it clear they are looking for a significant increase on the £6.5million per year he takes home after tax in Turin.

Dybala wants £9m a year after tax at Old Trafford which would launch him into the highest tier of Premier League earners alongside Mesut Ozil at Arsenal.

This is more than United were hoping to pay although it is early in the talks about personal terms and the difference is not expected to block the transfer.

At the top of the Premier League's earners sits Alexis Sanchez on his £500,000-a-week lucrative United contract, with Ozil just below on £350,000 and the likes of Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane on £300,000.

Dybala wants to meet with Maurizio Sarri and discuss his future but Juventus are already planning for a new-look team without him.

Paulo Dybala has told Manchester United he wants £350,000 per week to join them. Romelu Lukaku is set to head in the opposite direction and sign for Juventus this summer. Dybala wants to meet with Maurizio Sarri and discuss his future but Juve have decided to sell. His wages demands would fire him straight into the top tier of Premier League earners

Sarri is keen to add Lukaku’s strength, athleticism and experience to his attack in the hope it will provide more freedom for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Belgian international is still only 26 and has been scoring goals in top-level football for a decade.

Manchester United have been prepared to sell Lukaku if their valuation of £75m is met.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has decided Marcus Rashford will be his main centre-forward and does not wish to stand in the way of Lukaku’s moving on to further his career in Italy.

Inter Milan were first to move but their best offer was £45m plus add-ons of £4.5m and Juventus have stolen in.

The Italian champions value Dybala at £80m.

Paulo Dybala 'cancelled a summer move to Manchester United by calling his agent while he was negotiating in Ed Woodward's office' with Juventus striker saying: 'I don't care about the money, I want to stay here'

* Deal was in place for Paulo Dybala to join Man United from Juventus in August
* Romelu Lukaku was set to move to Turin in exchange for the Argentina striker
* Dybala's agent, Jorge Antun, was negotiating at United's offices in London
* But he received a call from the player instructing him to cancel the transfer
* Dybala has gone on to enjoy a fine season with 13 goals and 12 assists for Juve

Paulo Dybala reportedly cancelled a summer move to Manchester United - while his agent was sat in Ed Woodward's office.

The Juventus striker's representative, Jorge Antun, was at United's London office during the first week of August last year locked in negotiations with United officials when the player called and told him to pull the plug on the deal.

According to Calciomercato, an agreement was already in place between United and Juventus which involved Romelu Lukaku being sold to the Turin club in exchange for the Argentine.

Paulo Dybala 'cancelled a move from Juventus to Manchester United' with a timely phone call. The Argentine striker was reportedly on the verge of joining the Old Trafford club. Dybala's agent was reportedly in with Ed Woodward (above) when the call came through

But in the nick of time, Antun received a phone call from the player, who told him: 'I don't care about the money, I want to stay here.'

Dybala, 26, subsequently stayed at Juventus, where he eventually convinced manager Maurizio Sarri of his merits and has since scored 13 goals and contributed 12 assists in 34 matches this season.

Indeed his form has been so convincing that Juventus are now in talks with the player over a new five-year contract and a salary increase, however a dispute over image rights has stalled progress.

Belgian striker Lukaku moved to Juve's Serie A title rivals Inter Milan in a £70million deal.

Dybala scored Juve's second goal as they defeated Inter 2-0 on Sunday night to return a point clear of Lazio at the top of the Serie A table.

'We want to keep him': Juventus reveal that Paulo Dybala has entered talks to extend his deal with the Serie A giants after he was linked with a move to Manchester United in Paul Pogba swap

* Paulo Dybala was rumoured to have been targeted by Manchester United in May
* The Argentina ace was said to have dismissed a potential Premier League move
* Dybala claimed that Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain were interested in 2019
* Juventus have now revealed that they are in talks to extend his deal past 2022

Argentina striker Paulo Dybala is in talks to extend his contract at Juventus - less than six months after being linked to a swap deal with Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Dybala and teammate Miralem Pjanic turned down the idea of a shock switch that could have taken Pogba back to Juventus in May, according to sources in Italy.

The 26-year-old also claimed that Tottenham and Paris Saint-German made contact with the reigning Serie A champions about his availability in 2019.

Juve chief football officer Fabio Paratici has now confirmed that discussions have begun on Dybala staying beyond the end of his current deal in 2022.

Paratici told Sky Sport Italia: 'We're in talks to extend Paulo Dybala's contract. He wants to stay and we want to keep him. He's part of our future. We'll continue the negotiations to find an agreement.'

Dybala suffered four positive Covid-19 tests in six weeks in March and April, but started his first match in three months as Juventus drew 1-1 at home to Verona on Sunday.

Despite Dybala failing to score in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, who is currently quarantining after a positive test, Paratici believes Dybala's health and injury concerns are behind him.

Paulo Dybala was a key star in Juventus's title triumph last season and is discussing a new deal. The Argentina ace had been linked to a swap move involving Manchester United's Paul Pogba. There had been talk of Pogba turning his back on United in a surprise return to his former club

Paratici said: 'Paulo is in better shape physically now, as let's not forget that he was out for two months with a muscular injury, then had a gastrointestinal infection in Argentina.

'It's right that he now has the opportunity to start after a few run-outs. We are discussing the contract extension.

'We certainly want to continue but it has been a tricky period because we were locked in the hotel for two weeks due to the Covid scare and not allowed to meet anyone. But we have been talking.'

Dybala scored 11 times in 33 appearances last season and came on as a substitute in the 2-0 Champions League win at Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday.

Chelsea and Manchester United 'will battle to sign Juventus star Paulo Dybala this summer despite PSG leading the race for the forward', with Italian giants looking to raise funds

* Chelsea and Man United are interested in signing Paulo Dybala, reports claim
* The Argentine has been linked with a move away from Juventus this summer
* The financially stricken Old Lady are reportedly hoping to raise £85m in sales

Chelsea and Manchester United will do battle over Juventus star Paulo Dybala, but they will face stiff competition from PSG, according to reports.

Dybala's future in Turin is looking doubtful, with his contract set to expire at the end of next season, and the Old Lady are said to be looking to cash in on a handful of their best-paid stars.

The 27-year-old was voted as the Serie A's MVP last season, but has not enjoyed the best of seasons this time out - scoring just three times in the league during an injury-hit campaign, while also struggling with the effects of Covid.

Dybala has been a peripheral figure under boss Andrea Pirlo of late, and while the Juve coach has insisted he will be staying put, Tuttosport report that the Blues and United are both circling.

However, Paris Saint Germain are 'in pole position' for Dybala, it adds, in a move that would see him join fellow Argentine Mauricio Pochettino, as well as superstars Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

Juventus announced a loss of £99million for the first six months of 2020-21 and are set to sell a number of players to keep their finances steady.

Last week Italian media claimed the club would sell at least six first team players to raise around £85m this summer, and it has also been reported that they will be forced to sell either Dybala or Ronaldo due to their huge salaries.

Juventus forward Paulo Dybala has been strongly linked with an exit from the club this summer. Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel and United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are both keen. Mauricio Pochettino's Paris Saint Germain are the leading contenders for Dybala's signature. Juventus will be forced sell either Dybala or Cristiano Ronaldo (R), Italian media reports

Considering how crucial Ronaldo has been this term - netting 32 times in 37 games - it seems like Dybala would be more expendable, and he would not be short of offers given his standing as one of Europe's top forwards.

Dybala came close to joining Manchester United in the summer of 2019, before the move broke down - while he also held advanced talks with Tottenham before committing his future to Juve.

United are in need of a new striker who can bolster Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's attack - the club signed Edinson Cavani last season but the Uruguayan has remained a back-up option for the Red Devils.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are looking for additional firepower having watched £53m striker Timo Werner struggle to adapt during his first season in England.

buat gantiin Martial oke juga, yg penting gak mengganggu jam bermain Greenwood. tapi kalo soal peluang mungkin lebih condong ke PSG yg bisa memberikan gaji gede dan faktor pelatih dari Argentina
