* Diogo Dalot could soon be on his way to the Premier League with Man United * United want a right back to complete with 33-year-old Antonio Valencia * The Porto youngster is a Portugal U21 international who can also play left back * United expect to offset the deal with Matteo Darmian's £11.5m sale to Juventus Manchester United are set to complete a move for Porto right back Diogo Dalot. Jose Mourinho's side are still discussing the structure of the offer for Dalot, who has a buy-out clause of £17.4million. United want a right back to compete with Antonio Valencia who is 33 and needs constant treatment on a knee injury. ![]() Manchester United are looking to sign Porto's Diogo Dalot to compete with Antonio Valencia Dalot is a Portugal Under-21 international who can also play left back. He broke into Porto's first team in February in that position and played in his club's 0-0 Champions League draw at Liverpool. Dalot helped Portugal win the 2016 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, scoring twice in five games in Azerbaijan including once in the final against Spain. United have discussed a number of options including Atletico Madrid's Sime Vrsaljko and Joao Cancelo at Valencia, but have now opted for the cheaper target of Dalot believing he has the potential to kick on. United expect to offset the deal with Matteo Darmian's £11.5m sale to Juventus. Code:

![]() ![]() Manchester United hold Diogo Dalot transfer talks Diogo Dalot has played a handful of fixtures for Porto but could become the first Man Utd transfer in the summer transfer window 2018. Manchester United are attempting to sign teenage right-back Diogo Dalot from Porto. Portuguese sources have told the MEN United have tracked Dalot, 19, for a number of months having struggled to settle on a more established right-back target. United refused to comment. Dalot is a Portugal Under-21 international who only made his senior debut for Porto in February before he started in their goalless Champions League round-of-16 draw with Liverpool at Anfield in March. Dalot has appeared just eight times for Porto but has impressed United's Portuguese scouts. Braga-born Dalot joined Porto's academy aged 11. Dalot, who won the Under-19 European Championship with Portugal in 2016, was not included in coach Fernando Santos' 23-man World Cup squad. United have explored signing a right-back and a left-back this summer and, despite interest in Alex Sandro, are expected to conclude a deal for the right-sided Dalot sooner. Antonio Valencia, who turns 33 in August, is out of contract at the end of next season and Mourinho has earmarked Dalot as his long-term heir, with Matteo Darmian expected to leave in the summer. Mourinho's willingness to recruit a raw replacement for Valencia mirrors Sir Alex Ferguson's grooming of Rafael da Silva to assume Gary Neville's right-back role. Neville was 33 and had suffered an injury which had reduced him to one appearance in 18 months when Rafael made his debut aged 18 in August 2008. United manager Mourinho was reluctant to sign Portugal-based players in his first summer transfer window at Old Trafford but the club bought Victor Lindelof from Benfica in an initial £30.9million deal last year and Dalot could become the first Porto player to move to United since Anderson in 2007. The Brazil midfielder eventually cost £25m.

![]() Marko Arnautovic claims Manchester United are yet to approach him but is flattered by interest: 'It's nice to hear'
* Manchester United are yet to begin talks over a move for Marko Aranutovic * Arnautovic says he has not heard anything from his brother, who is his agent * Jose Mourinho claims they haven't held talks as the Austrian 'was on holiday' Marko Arnautovic has admitted links with Manchester United are 'nice to hear' but insists there has been no contact as of yet. Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in bringing the West Ham forward to Old Trafford as he looks to bolster his attacking options. Arnautovic is currently on international duty with Austria and only joined the Hammers from Stoke last year. When asked about the rumours, Arnautovic said: 'It's nice to hear. 'I've not heard anything from my brother, my agent. 'You can keep asking this question, you'll never hear the answer from me.' The 29-year-old impressed during his year in East London, scoring 11 goals and producing six assists, during what was a difficult season for West Ham. They now value the striker to be worth around £50m as he proved to be a real asset to them under David Moyes, helping to guide them to Premier League safety. ![]() Marko Arnautovic is on international duty and claims links to Man United are 'nice to hear'. The West Ham forward scored 11 Premier League goals last season but they value him at £50m. Arnautovic insists talks haven't began, with Jose Mourinho blaming that he 'was on holiday' Man United are looking to add players in a number of areas and already set to complete the signing of Fred from Shakthar Donetsk. Arnautovic is a versatile player and can fill in across the front-line, with Man United particularly keen to bring in additions who can play on the right-wing, where the Austrian spent most of his time at Stoke. Jose Mourinho was also reluctant to talk about the speculation after claiming he hadn't spoke to Arnautovic, but did not deny he had plans to. Mourinho said: 'He was on holiday, he told you. I haven't spoken to him, he was on holidays.' With Austria not at the World Cup after finishing fourth in their qualifying group, Mourinho will have all summer to negotiate a move with the forward. ![]() Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian set for exit as Napoli chief confirms loan offer for outcast
* Napoli have submitted a loan offer to Manchester United for Matteo Darmian * The defender is keen to leave United this summer due to footballing reasons * Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed an offer has been made for him * Jose Mourinho is happy to sanction the deal despite a shortage of fit right-backs Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed the club have opened up negotiations with Manchester United over a potential loan deal to sign Matteo Darmian. The Serie A side launched an official bid for the wantaway defender this week, which is a season-long loan offer with a view to a permanent transfer. Darmian has serious intentions to leave United this summer due to footballing reasons and Jose Mourinho is not prepared to stand in his way should an offer meet the club's valuation. ![]() Matteo Darmian (middle) is set to leave Manchester United after Napoli make loan offer United will still consider the loan bid from Napoli despite it not being an up front cash deal, but will first look to ensure a provisional fee is agreed for the signing to be made permanent at the end of the season. AC Milan, Juventus and Inter have also expressed an interest in bringing Darmian back to Italy, but Napoli are now the frontrunners to land his signature after making the first move. De Laurentiis told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli: 'We have asked for Darmian on a loan with a right to sign next summer.' It is understood Mourinho is happy to sanction the deal despite his shortage of fit and available right-backs for the start of the season. Antonio Valencia and summer signing Diogo Dalot are both currently sidelined and are not expected to recover from their injuries anytime soon. The United boss has expressed his discontent at the club's lack of transfer activity this summer and may demand a replacement is brought in for insurance before Darmian is allowed to leave. Code:

![]() Juventus plot sensational move to re-sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and are 'ready to cash in on Miralem Pjanic, Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani to make it happen'
* Juventus are ready to sell four of their star players to sign France star Paul Pogba * The Serie A club have made initial contact with his representative about a deal * Man United may be willing to listen amid his bad relationship with Jose Mourinho * Juve will sell Miralem Pjanic, Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani to fund a move Juventus are 'plotting a sensational move to bring Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba back' to Italy this summer. The Serie A club have made initial contact with Pogba's representative, Mino Raiola, and have informed him that they are exploring the possibility of re-signing the midfielder they sold to United for £89million two years ago. It is understood United may be willing to listen to an offer from Juventus amid Pogba's fractious relationship with manager Jose Mourinho, which developed towards the back end of last season after the France star was dropped from the side. ![]() Juventus are 'ready to sell star players' to finance a move to re-sign midfielder Paul Pogba Their awkward relationship was emphasised by Mourinho's comments over the past week regarding the Frenchman's performances at the World Cup. Instead of complementing his player, Mourinho took the opportunity to make thinly-veiled suggestions that Pogba needs to up his game to a similar level for United. He said: 'I don't think it's about us getting the best out of him, it's about him giving the best he has to give.' ![]() Man United may be willing to listen to Juve amid Pogba's poor relationship with Jose Mourinho. Their relationship deteriorated last season after Mourinho dropped Pogba for several games. Mourinho emphasised the unease between them by hinting Pogba must improve for United This will not have gone unnoticed by Pogba - who is currently on holiday in LA after helping France win the World Cup - and may make a Juventus return seem all the more tempting. The logistics of a deal to sign Pogba will not be simple, though, with Juventus short on funds after splashing out in excess of £85million to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to the Allianz Stadium. However, according to The Mirror, Juventus have conjured up a plan to combat that and are prepared to cash in on Miralem Pjanic, Gonzalo Higuain, Daniele Rugani and Mattia Caldara in a bid to finance the kind of offer that would test United’s resolve. ![]() Juve are ready to exploit the situation and sell Gonzalo Higuain and Miralem Pjanic to sign him ![]() They are also prepared to sell Daniele Rugani, who Chelsea are pushing to sign this summer Juve boss Max Allegri has envisioned teaming Pogba up with Ronaldo as they look to turn their unrivalled domestic dominance into a challenge for the Champions League this season and is confident he can persuade him to re-join the club to make that a reality. They got the ball rolling by offering Manchester City Pjanic as an alternative option after the Premier League champions missed out on Fred and Jorginho. The Italian side value the Bosnian playmaker at around £90m and have made it clear they have no intention of selling for any less. Chelsea are also reportedly pressing ahead with deals to sign Higuain and highly-rated defender Rugani for a combined fee in the region of £95m and plan to send officials to Italy next week to broker a deal.
