Blind dan Carrick mungkin cocok.

Yang pasti jangan main bola lambung ke striker. Liverpool punya CB jangkung2. Peluang duel jadi imbang dan klo pun menang duel udara blom tentu bola dikuasai pemain United. Di atas kertas cara ini buruk meski menempatkan duo Zlatan dan Fellaini.

saya rasa bisa kombinasi dua-duanya om. Bahkan diagonal pass (punya Rooney) juga dibutuhkan untuk lepas dari gegen pressingnya Liverpool. Entah Blind atau Carrick saya rasa formasi kemarin akan tetap dipertahankan dgn perubahan minor (di Lindgard) mungkin.

EARLY TEAM NEWS AHEAD OF LIVERPOOL CLASH

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will be hoping all of his international stars return to the Aon Training Complex unscathed ahead of Monday's return to Premier League action at Liverpool.

The Reds have more time to prepare for the Anfield clash, which should help Sergio Romero, Marcos Rojo and Antonio Valencia recover from their World Cup qualifying exploits in South America, but the fixture list has thrown up three games in six days for Mourinho's men.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan missed Armenia's matches against Romania and Poland to continue his fight to regain full fitness, while Luke Shaw was not rushed back by England, with interim coach Gareth Southgate stressing last week that the left-back "isn't quite back fit yet".

Phil Jones looks set to remain on the sidelines but Marouane Fellaini should be available for Anfield as he only sat out Belgium's victory over Gibraltar due to suspension.

The hosts are anxious over the availability of Adam Lallana (groin) and Georginio Wijnaldum (hamstring) but Emre Can is likely to be an option after recovering from the ankle injury he sustained against Burton Albion in the EFL Cup. Dejan Lovren and Nathaniel Clyne also need to prove their fitness to boss Jurgen Klopp.

Anthony Taylor will be the referee in Monday night's blockbuster encounter.

Liverpool Football Club and Manchester United Football Club are calling on their fans to help eradicate any offensive or discriminatory behaviour ahead of their Premier League clash at Anfield on Monday 17 October.


The clubs continue to work together and respect the great rivalry between them but will not condone any offensive or discriminatory behaviour in Anfield Stadium or Old Trafford.

In a joint statement, the clubs said: “Both clubs, their supporters and football fans around the world are looking forward to this historic and passionate match between two of the sport’s biggest and oldest rivals.

“There is great rivalry between our fans and we ask all supporters to be respectful and help eradicate all forms of offensive and discriminatory behaviour from the game.

“If any supporters are found to be engaged in any form of offensive or discriminatory behaviour by stewards or via CCTV then they will be immediately removed from the stadium, risk arrest, prosecution and be reported in accordance with the club’s ground regulations.

"This is an unrivalled fixture in the Premier League calendar and we thank all fans for their continued support in this important area of the game.”

According to the host broadcaster, Liverpool and Manchester United games are the biggest club games in world football and will likely be seen by an estimated 700 million people in over 200 countries.

A spokesperson from Kick it Out, added: “Both Liverpool and Manchester United should be commended for this proactive approach ahead of this important fixture. Wayne Rooney must start for Manchester United at Liverpool on Monday, according to a former Anfield favourite.

Didi Hamann has stressed that the England captain - dropped by Jose Mourinho for his side's last two Premier League matches and by Three Lions caretaker boss Gareth Southgate in Slovenia on Tuesday - is crucial to United's chances of securing three points against their fierce rivals.

Hamann, who played 283 times for the Reds during seven years on Merseyside, believes Mourinho would be making a mistake by leaving the 31-year-old out.


Rooney has been left out of the Manchester United starting XI for the last two league games

'The question about whether Wayne Rooney starts for Man United is an easy one. He has to play,' said Hamann.

'Rooney is a big asset to everyone on the pitch and importantly he has the mentality of a winner.

'Getting dropped will hurt him and he will be champing at the bit to answer his critics.'

Hamann is equally convinced Rooney is wasted in the deeper-lying midfield role in which he has received immense criticism from fans of both United and England.

'He has to start as a No 10 off Zlatan Ibrahimovic,' said Hamann.

'You can’t play him any deeper as he’s not equipped to play as a holding midfielder, full stop. These are the games in which you want to prove yourself.

'Liverpool away is one that will be getting talked about around Manchester United for months - these are the matches neither team can lose.'
