Phil Neville's English revolution in Florida continues as he brings his SON Harvey to Inter Miami... after the 18-year-old left Manchester United's academy to join David Beckham's MLS outfit

Phil Neville has signed his son Harvey for Inter Miami with the 18-year-old leaving Manchester United's academy to join the David Beckham-owned club.

The youngster signed his first professional contract with his dad's former club last summer after joining the academy in 2018 and was previously on the books of Manchester City and Valencia.

He was a regular for the Red Devils' Under 23 side this season but has decided to make the switch to America in search of regular playing time.

According to The Sun, he will initially join Inter Miami's sister team Fort Lauderdale CF once he sorts his visa.

Fort Lauderdale play in the USL Championship, the tier below the MLS, but the defender will be hoping to make the step up to the first-team.

Like his father and uncle Gary, Harvey plays at full-back but he can also operate in midfield.


The full-back confirmed his United exit by posting a training photo on Instagram. He had been in the Red Devils' academy since 2018 but did not make a first-team appearance

He was pictured training in South Florida alongside former Real Madrid and Chelsea forward Gonzalo Higuain.

And youngster confirmed his United exit by posting a photo of him in the club's gear on Instagram and updating his social media profiles.

The caption read: 'Let's go @intermiamicf' and was liked by Beckham and several of United's academy players.

Beckham appointed his former team-mate Neville as manager in January after the 44-year-old left his job as England Women boss.
