untuk yg FWA award
Wayne is the eighth Manchester United player to win the award since its inception, following in the footsteps of Johnny Carey (1948), Bobby Charlton (1966), George Best (1968), Eric Cantona (1996), Roy Keane (2000), Teddy Sheringham (2001) and Cristiano Ronaldo (2007, 2008).

Rooney becomes the 13th player to win the double of PFA and FWA Player of the Year awards, with both former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry scooping the double on two separate occasions.

Rooney's Awards, he deserved to get it this season :shakehand:
Acara tiap tahun yg digelar United buat mengumumkan Pemain terbaik di klub musim ini.
Rooney ngeborong 3 penghargaan malam tadi. 04/05/2010 22:45, Report by Adam Bostock Rooney wins club award treble Wayne Rooney has been named Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year for 2010 after a fantastic season for United. It's the second time he's won the award, as voted for by United fans around the world, following his original success in 2006. He won by a landslide this year, receiving 83 per cent of the votes cast on ManUtd.com. Patrice Evra and Antonio Valencia were in second and third place respectively. Rooney is the first Englishman to be named United's Player of the Year since Teddy Sheringham in 2001. Should he retain it in 2011, he'll become only the second man to win it three times, emulating Cristiano Ronaldo (2004, 2007 and 2008). Wayne's club accolade completes a personal Player of the Year hat-trick for this season, after his peers in the PFA and the nation's top football journalists in the FWA also made him their top man for 2009/10. He also won a hat-trick of club awards on Tuesday night, collecting the Players' Player of the Year accolade from Sir Alex Ferguson and also the Goal of the Season trophy for his strike on the counter-attack against Arsenal on 31 January. "I was a bit surprised I got Goal of the Season," Wayne told MUTV. "To win both the players’ and fans’ Player of the Year is a great feeling and it’s something I’m very proud of.”

Re: Rooney's Awards, he deserved to get it this season :shakehand:
Rooney named Player of the Season
Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has been named Barclays Player of the Season for 2009/10. The England star scooped the prestigious award after a prolific campaign in which his goals and inspirational form have been one of the main reasons United maintained their Barclays Premier League title challenge until the final fixture of the season. The England forward went agonisingly close to landing the Barclays Golden Boot award as he notched 26 goals in just 32 Barclays Premier League appearances, easily surpassing his previous best tally of 16 goals in the 2005/06 season. Latest Award Rooney has found the best form of his career this season, filling the void left by the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo from Old Trafford last summer. Memorable individual performances have included scoring all four goals in a 4-0 win over Hull City, and claiming his 100th Barclays Premier League career goal in a 3-1 victory at Arsenal. This is the first time that the Manchester United striker has been named Barclays Player of the Season, and is the latest award in a growing list of accolades which also includes this season's Professional Footballers' Association and Football Writers' Association Player of the Year awards. The decision was made by the Barclays Awards Panel, which includes representatives from football's governing bodies, the media and fans. Fact File * This season Rooney has made 32 appearances scoring 26 goals * He has made 256 appearances in the Barclays Premier League in total, scoring 106 goals * On 31st August 2004, Rooney signed for Manchester United in a £25.6m deal, the highest ever fee paid for a player under 20 years old * Rooney made his United debut on the 28th September 2004, scoring a hat-trick in a 6-2 Champions League win over Turkish side Fenerbache * Rooney made his league debut for Everton in 2002, five days before his 17th birthday against then reigning champions Arsenal. He scored the winning goal * After excelling for Liverpool Schoolboys, Rooney was snapped up by Everton at the age of 10 * Wayne Rooney was born on 24th October 1985 in Croxteth, Liverpool
